This is what I have made......

I had lots of fun altering a square box, the background was made with Gesso and I played with an ABC stencil and Light Modelling Paste.

 I worked with Pearlescent PanPastels and the colour this time was pinkish like Red Iron Oxide and brown as in Raw Umber. A bit darker brown was used on top of the letters on the background. I mixed a bit of White Coarse with the Raw Umber to make it a bit lighter.

All around the borders I placed a piece of lace. On top of the box I glued some hearts. I placed some rope around the hearts and glued them on top of eachother.

Here you can see how I placed the hearts on top of eachother with the rope around it. And a different side of the box as you can see. See the difference in the colours from the top to the bottom? 

Here you can see a different side of the box. On this side I smudged a bit with the ABC stencil but it does not bother me at all, I really like it that it is not that neat. It gives me more like a vintage feel....

Last but not least I colored a little laser art Butterfly from DD and placed it near the hearts.

This is what I have made......

I altered a heartshaped box for a coworker, she wanted something to put money in for a cousin's birthday So I thought I alter a heartshaped box. I worked on the background with lots of Purple PanPastel and white Coarse.

I worked with the honeycomb stencil and played with Light Modelling Paste. 

I worked with the honeycomb all around the box and worked with the Light Modelling Paste 

The edges are smudged with inks to give it a vintagy look.....

On the top of the box I created a flowerarrangement of roses and lots of different flowers. I colored the flowers with the Dark Purple PanPastels and dipped them into Glossy Accents to give them an icey look. Sprinkeled some White Coarse Pearlescent Pan on top and finished my flowerarrangement with some Dutch Doobadoo Butterflies.....

The inside of the box is also colored with White and Purple and Lavender colors of PanPastel. Hope you like my project.

This is what I have made......

I have played with yet another Notebook, this time I worked with the Black Pearlescent Pan, lots of shine from the White Coarse PanPastel and offcourse I could not help myself to place a Butterfly.

So this is the back of the notebook. I started out with one layer of Gesso....another layer that I did was with Black Pearlescent....and last layer on this side was with Crackle....can you see the cracks in the stencil that I used? I colored on top of it with another layer of White Coarse so that the cracks can be seen even better.....

Oke so here we have the front of the Notebook....Same background that I did on the back of the book but still a bit different....the Butterfly is worked on with Metallic PanPastel. I used the Graph It Shake Marker to delineate the sentiment. In this way, it seems as if the characters come foreward on the notebook.....

This is what I have made......

I had loads of fun altering a photoframe for my colleque. Remember the notebook with that stunning image in it? Well this is for her mother, she misses her girl that much, so I thought I would make a frame for her with her daughter in it. I did not make the image though, that was made by an artist. I made the frame. I started out with metall foil and embossed it.....

 I added alcohol inks and loads of PanPastels on it and tried to make it look old. I think that worked out great, don't you think.

So the background was done with lots of PanPastels, the inside was colored with PanPastels too,

 I worked with the Metallic PanPastels I just love them cause they give such a rich colour to your project, very nice shimmery colour. 

 

So here is my finished project, I hope you like it....I think it is just what I had in my head lol.....it all worked out the way I wanted too......

For decorations I used a butterfly die and embossed that one too with the Metall Foil. Than I just had to colour it with the Metallic Pans too....and last but not least I placed the Pennib on top of it.

This is what I have made......

I made a Notebook for the daughter of my colleque, she is an intern in Costa Rica and now she has a little notebook where she can write her adventures in....

the Front of the Notebook was made with Gesso, second layer is Light Modelling Paste.

I worked with a stencil to create the background.  The 3th layer is Crackle and after this was dry I worked on the Notebook with the White Coarse PanPastel and the Black Pearlescent Pan.

What the crackle combined with PanPastel does is give the background a nice crackled look. You can see the tiny cracks they are filled up with the PanPastels.

And this is what it looks like from upclose....can you see all the tiny crackles....I just love the way it came out and what the two products combined are doing on paper 

This is the backside of the Notebook. This was made the same way I did the front With Gesso Light Modelling Paste and a stencil. Crackle on top and when that was dry I Painted Matt Gel Medium on top.

So the last thing I did on the front was, place the drawing of  the girl and underneith the Costa Rica letters. They were stamped on paper and than I cut the letters out of the paper and placed them on the Notebook.

On the inside of the Notebook I stamped 2016, since it is the year 2016 when my colleques daughter is an intern and is going on a Journey to Costa Rica.
