DISCOUNT 15 % DISCOUNT
(NO CODE NECESSARY)

I was so excited to have the opportunity to play with the "BEACH DAY" stamp set. Just look at this adorable image!!!
Does she not just scream "paper piecing"? It was all I could do not to try and use everyone of the stamps at once. Not sure you can really see how I stamped the little border of seashells with Versamark ink then stamped over them with the sentiment "Fun in the Sun"?

Because I wanted to use that sentiment, I gave my little girl a little "sunburn" but I also used a yellow felt flower (thank you PAT) and button to resemble the SUN. Cute eeeh?
CHALLENGES I USED:
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Use the photo above (I liked the colors & of course beachy)
Cute Card Thursday: Summer
Simon Says Stamp: Photo Inspiration (I liked the turquoise)
Easy Craft Projects: Summer
Freshly Brewed: Summertime
Stampavie: Sparkling (I added glitter to the butterly in the center of her bathing suit)
Crafty Calendar: Summer (Glitterbabe is sponsoring this)

Christmas meets Halloween = Versatility

Versatility, mixing & matching or just looking past the obvious uses of some of your stamps not only stretches the dollar but makes your stamp investments so much more valuable. Although I don't have to justify my stamp addiction purchases to DH, sometimes I have to justify them to MYSELF. Take another look at the card I created today. The orange strip of patterned paper was created using stamps from a Penny Black Crystalline Christmas Stamp set....I am trying real hard to NOT HOARD the Hero Arts pearls that I placed in the center of some of my images. Are they not FUN.

Do you love NESTABILITIES, COPIC MARKERS, MOMENTO INK, STAMPS, PUNCHES?? Do you love BARGAINS?

HUGE ENABLER ALERT
at
ABC Toys & Crafts

I used all of the products mentioned above for today's card. Once again I have only allowed the very edge of of a punched border to peek out. The green Rik Rak looking border was created with the Martha Stewart "arch lattice" edge punch. These sweet little mice are from the Penny Black "Micey Day" stamp set and they were stamped, colored with my Copics, cut out, then mounted on foam squares. I added a little diamond glaze to the cherries that are on the outside of the bowl and a double portion of glaze to one of the cherries on the inside.
Thanks for visiting me today, make sure to leave a comment so that I can come and check out your blog. I am always on the look out for new inspiration.
