leaving on a jet plane

around 2am last friday, papa walking towards the airport entrance... :(

last friday we accompanied my father to the airport, yes, he's vacation is finally over and has to go back to Tampa, Florida for his signing in for work at a Luxury Cruise line. it made us all sad, the thought of my father has to go back for work. leaving his first grand daughter, Olin. what keeps us not thinking so much of papa is his many stories funny,sad and intriguing ones from his previous cruises. Papa, being a narrative talker can actually make us feel his stories as if we are there at the scenes. his different guests with different wants and requests, how he handles the tantrums of the little cruiser and the oldies who keeps on coming back for more tour at the sea but never forgets to throw a fit or two to the cabin stewards and other cruise employees. although he said that being in the world of Luxury Cruise is something he is thankful for because unlike working in a Cargo shipping lines and tanker vessels, their work though hard and tiring at least they get to see a lot of people, engaged themselves in various activities and programs. sometimes i wonder if all the cruise lines is like the cruise line that my father works for. i heard that one of the many cruise destinations like Alaska cruise vacation offers a lot of wonderful things to see during the amazing sea journey.
today marks my papa's 7th day out of the country for work, we'll just have to wait for another 173 days before he comes back! :)
