WS: Mommy Day

For us four, it was really sad the others wasn't able to come due to some emergencies and errands to run. So there, what we had? a whole lot of food and stories to share! juicy stories I must say ;p Well, we also talked about housing loan and life insurance lead and some future plans of us! But of course, we had so much fun eating! So many foods to share with non stop talking from Aggie, Joy and Me! Oh, Litzie? she just listened most of the time! maybe next time, she'll warm up fast and do the talking while we all listen! It was a fun fund day I must say, thank you ladies for the company and for giving me warm power hugs!

perks while working

My childhood friend who works in one of those fab and luxurious European cruises is about to be transfer in another country. It's a good thing for her, especially when it comes to salary and benefits because she can request for her mom to have a quick vacation but sad thing, she woudln't be able to discover more of Europe, but with six or eight countries that she was able to visit, I think that's already fine. Someday who knows, she might get transfer again and will be able to continue her travel perks!

happy with the online world

It''s one in the morning and I am still alive and kicking! Thanks to the wonderful ladies who are as energetic as I am now on twitter! :D We are actually talking about a lot of stuff there, from beauty secrets to shopping to getting fit and taking Fenphedra while indulging in cholesterol filled foods and carbohydrates plus sugar foods! I know, it's totally opposite, but what can we do?! we all love the same things! And I am so happy to have people like them :D It makes my life in the online world happy! By the way, here's the crispy pata everyone drooled over since yesterday! Fatty but yummy!

Lucky Lucky Lucky!

Is ME!!! because I won hefty $25 in a blogberday contest of my friend EM :) the winners were announced early this week and I was really surprised to see my name on the lists of the winners! super Lucky indeed!

I guess the dust of luck is still with me eh, You see, about some months ago I won first with Peachy's baby contest, then with Mai's -I won 200 ec credits and about three weeks ago I won first (super nice DSLR strap) with Jacq's blog contest too! and now, $25 with Em's :) such a lucky blogger I must say... thanks people for all the contests and blessings that you're sharing! Now I'm just crossing my fingers with the LV raffle craze being held at greenbelt as of this writing... but now, lemme just browse on some bar sinks designs available online.

Regada 2008

We just came fresh from REGADA (Water Festival) at Cavite City... Had so much fun with friends, dancing, drinking and just making the best out of the celebration! Saw Uma Kuni and Kat De Castro of Trip na Trip (being aired at ABS CBN)... anyways, that REGADA thing started out as just one of those street 'basaan' party being held every June 24 a celebration of the feast day of St. John the Baptist, until it was given a hefty amount of budget by the local government that various events were added to spice up the said event. Imagine shower sprinklers lined up and powered by the city's fire department in a one kilometer stretch of the main avenue, plus the number of entertainment stages in every block boosting with dance and rock music to jive with the groove of the wet and happy party people.
No clear pictures to post here since bringing a camera would mean one thing... stupidity. So we just opt to use our camera phone -wrapped and sealed in plastic to prevent it from getting wet.

Was talking to a friend a few nights ago and we were thinking if we shall have another Halloween party for kids and for our kids. Of course we both agreed because we had a blast during the past gig, kids and adults played games and practically partied all night! the kids were tucked in to bed of course while the parents and some friends continued with the celebration.

Anyways, we were thinking of creating our own Halloween invitations to be distributed to other friends whom we might want to be there also.

and here are my friends who made the party possible and surprisingly happy! yep, as you noticed I wasn't wearing any costume or anything, why?! because I dressed up like an artista of course! what do you expect?! lol ... ala Kim Chui! hahahaha fat version! whahahahaha

bonding with food and wine

Some friends from my previous company came over here at our house for a little get together slash dinner slash mini drinking session, it has been months since we last saw each other thus making our night full of talks and gossips and whatnots. They even brought me a cake and two bottles of my ever favorite sparkling white wine, making it a post birthday celebration too! It was really touching, that even after not seeing each other for some time the bond and the friendship remain still. And that is one of the many things why I still up to now misses my work, technically, its not the my work or my daily tasks that I missed, its the friendship and the company that embraces me in that small four walled building. Anyways, we call it off a few minutes before ten because they still have early shifts tomorrow plus my friend Paula has to finish her financial reporting. So we just capped the night with some vague plans regarding our family day out together with the other friends in the office, hopefully by next month before the summer ends. Oh, I can't wait!

videoke night

was doing my posts arrangement when i saw this in draft! i forgot to have it publish... anyways here are some of the photos we had during my friend's mae send out party at Mt.Sea Resort. friends from high school and college came for a fun filled singing night! and yes.. food galore at its finest! we had over flowing foods that had my stomach ache with dispepsia! hahaha! the calorie filled session was super memorable for everyone, same time sad because it'll be the last time we will see Mae... and it will be like another 10 years to wait before she comes home? i'm not sure though... anyways, Jr was determined to lose weight that he even thinks of dozing himself with fat burning pills as well as Lovemela.. goodluck to us who are in the midst of fighting the bulge! hahaha... some practice with the weight benches and dumb bells might help noh?

yipee! happy day sunday! :) Peachy (the one responsible for making me gaga for shopping, thanks mare!) and i together with our hubbies and Don Joaqin met up at Blue Wave yesterday morning. we were supposed to meet at MOA pero later decided sa BW na lang since there are so many people at the mall during these days, at un na! sa wakas after being online friends for months now, nagkita na din kame! kakainis ka mare.. your so slim and sexy! :) hehehe.... magpapayat na ko, promise! teehee! :) nice meeting you Gelo at ang cute ni Don Joaqin! super behave baby you have mare...

*** i was just doin' my reading on my last year posts...and then i remembered that it was almost a year ago when i got a baby shower from my office mates... these are the times where i'm still not into paid blogging and all of my post entries are my real stories... i sometimes miss those times....
heniweys, here's the nostalgic event that happened a year ago...

ok, so eto na ang kwento ng baby shower ko last saturday...

venue: SSPI lobby/ 5:30pm
attendies: office/workmates, mae and dulz (all-girls)
theme: chocolate?! hehehe...
games: baby bingo, pass on the cotton balls, baby word.
shower hosts/clowns (hehehe): love and pau
give aways: lollipop cookies
highlights: the choco fountain! ;) and the dippers!
foods served: tacos, pansit bihon, crispy pata, fried chicken wings, rice!

...'twas actually the 2nd time na magkaron ng baby shower sa company namin, yung una kay te cons... before kze sobrang konti lang ng mga employees dito at di ganun nabibigyan ng time mga gantong ka-ekekan.. anyways, maybe because mas marami ng younger generations ang pakalat kalat kaya meron ng isa or dalawang nakakapag-isip ng mga gantong happenings...
so ayun nga, the planning na... supposedly sa house namin gagawin, join na lang sana with my friends from the outside world (hehehe..) and families as well... kaso di na nag-work out dahil baka may mga di maka-attend, at baka magkahiyaan na din. So katulad na lang ng kay te cons, sa company na lang.
...at dahil nga OC ako slash katikatera, kaya nagprovide din ako ng share ko... yung ever-choco fountain at mga dippers tsaka yung give away lollipop cookies and tacos. pero the rest, di ko na alam, nagulat na lang din ako dami pa palang food!

eto naman yung mga workmates ko while enjoying the fountain... one time or another nalimutan nilang shower ko dahil nawili sila sa chocolates! hehehe

what gifts that i got?: over-alls, feeding bottles, baby shampoo and soap, milk dispenser (un ba tawag dun?), rattle/teethers, bibs, socks, mittens, nipple cleaner, nail cutter, disney cloth diaper, hangers, pacifiers and booties!

wow! tibay ng baby namin... dami na agad gifts, di na nabigyan ng chance makapamili ang mommy! hehehe... ayos diba! halos kumpleto na gamit ni baby! ;)

speaking of friendliness, i remember getting an award on being miss congeniality when i was in elementary... i dunno, but i love gaining friends :) it comes out naturally, even until high school. i'm one of the student who have lots of friends from different year levels, that i was voted as the class president in my junior and senior year, officers of different organizations and the student council. i stopped being so friendly when i was in College, i don't know with that honestly, but i got so contented with my high school friends and a few from my College class. maybe i got tired of being in many different groups that i opted to stay in a circle less than 10. then i got a job, where my friendliness comes alive again! :) we became good friends and even kumares now, i'm so happy that i was able to gain more friends in the blogworld.... :)

Chloe's 1st Birthday

last Sept. 12, we attended Chloe Sabrielle's 1st birthday party at Mc Donald's, i remember ate Cons (the mom of the celebrant) when we were both pregnant at work, we usually have the same food and fruits during our pregnancy days, my sharing partner of everything, she is 5 months ahead in pregnancy that is why i always asked her about the stages and what-nots of being bulgy!.... and now it is already her daughter's first birthday! Olin loves the balloons and the colorful posters around the party area, she doesn't even mind the princess crown the party manager puts on her head. she wears it the whole time! :) my friends and her ninangs were all so amazed to see her eat so many french fries and how happy baby she was the whole party time. like her mommy as always... a social butterfly! hehehehe...

her tatay wasn't able to join us that time that is why i brought along yaya mean.

i was chosen at the bring-me game for the sexiest mommy! nyahahahaha! not that i'm sexy, not! it so happen that i was standing near the host and the father of the celebrant (kuya ayieh) brought me to the center! :) i lose. you know why? because the contestant has to dance TAK-TAK MO! good heavens! now way! i declared BAWI! and let my equally sexy opponent win! and yes, she dance till she drops in the tune of ITAKTAK MO! hehehe...

catching up

last thursday was my mall time with friend/kumare/ex-officemate paula... i fetch her after working hours and went directly to SM, since we have a limited time for the catching up we were like busy bees doing the talking and the shopping all at the same time! :) having all the juciest and newest gossip, twas a fun filled chicka to the max! it was almost 9pm and mall closing time when we decided to grab dinner at shakeys. we didn't notice that we are actually that hungry that i was able to finish my food in zip! i love mojos! hehehe...
thanks pau for the wonderful girls out! :) i'm so lucky to have you as my friend... we're going on our 10 year na noh? :) looking forward for more years friendship!
