Birthday Promise
today is the birthday of

Maximum Exposure
August 8, 2007 -- marks the 3rd year anniversary of Amiel's Total Maximum Exposure.
Seeing the photos of his starlet brings back the shiver and fear that i felt when i got a call from a guy using Amiel's number around 2am of August 8, 2004 and told me that the owner of the phone had an accident and was on the ER the time he was talking to me. We were bf/gf that time it happened, and by looking at the inbox of his phone it was my name who had the most number of text messages that is why the guy decided to call me. at first i thought it was a joke or something, but when i asked the guy to tell the full name of Amiel and he answers back by reading his liscence it hit me. it was for real. For some reason, i wasn't able to contact his parents nor his sisters, it was only his brother who were able to answer my call and told him what happened. Good thing my cousin was spending the night in our house and he was able to drove me to the hospital,mama and papa accompanied me. Without knowing what really had happened, the ride to the hospital was unbearable. We keep on looking for signs of any accidents until we came to see Amiel's car, almost smashed up. The driver's side was wrecked totally. Scattered glass was all over the road. My cousin never bother to stop or to get up close to the car, he continue to drive to the hospital about 3 minutes away from the accident scene. I immediately get out of the car and run to the ER. There i saw Amiel, blood and engine oil all over his face and body. His shirt was torn. Thank God he was not unconscious although he cannot speak, something in his chest is hurting. an oxygen was attached for him to breath. nurses getting this and that for examine, firsts aids were given.they brought him to the x-ray room to check his inside and there the ortho found out that there are several ribs fractured.
the guy who called me was one of the group of guys (angels as i called them up to now) who run to the scene after hearing a loud screach and seeing Amiel's car got hit by a bus. they were the ones who rushed Amiel to the hospital.
he has to stay in the hospital for almost two weeks, talking was impossible for him that time, nor to sit or stand. the fractured ribs causes a lot of pain.
But thank the Lord God that he was miraculously saved!

Surprise!
a package from hubby's uncle arrived yesterday, consisting of Amiel's hunting paraphernalias like the ghillie suit and camoflauges and other accessories for the car. Syempre, super happy and excited si husband ever! :) most probably by next week he and his hunting friends will go on another trip in the mountains Ternate,Cavite. i bet he'll be wearing that most-awaited ghillie suit and be sikat among the fellow hunters! hehehehe... i'll try to take picture of that ghillie and post it here sometime. meanwhile, also included in the package are Olin's clothes! a lil' bit larger but who cares, in a few more months she'll be able to strut her stuff and get jiggy with it! :) Now back to my hunt for online courses
