Ten on Tuesday

1. I zoned out completely and drove right by my exit on my way to work and camp this morning. I had to get off at the next exit and do a u turn and try again. It's totally jarring when you're driving along and then you suddenly wake up and realize where you are.


2. It's Halloween Day at Baby C's summer camp today and rummaging through Rubbermaid tubs of clothes looking for an old Halloween outfit at 6:10 am was ughhh......


3. I've gone to bed at 7:30 pm the last 2 nights in a row. I swear I have the best intentions on my drive home and then the couch calls me and it's all over. I keep missing "Big Brother 15" I guess it's not meant for me to watch this season.


4. I finally cleaned off the Ping Pong table at work today, my anal mentality got the better of me.


5. I just clicked "Connect" on LinkedIn with a Canadian guy who I met on a plane nearly 20 years ago now. It was a flight from the US to the UK so we got to talk for a long time we were both on college summer break.  Poor guy had just told his parents he was gay and they all but disowned him. He's a lawyer now so if I ever get in trouble in Canada I should be ok.


6. We got an email at work last week letting us know that because we're doing such a wonderful job they've given us Friday off as well as Thursday. So tomorrow is my Friday.


7. Baby C makes such a big production every night we tell her it's time for her to take a shower. You'd think we were asking her to do something new, something big, something complicated. Ughh.....


8. We're having Channa Masala and brown rice for dinner tonight...I'm not cooking from scratch and the last time we were in Trader Joe's Baby C taste it and liked it...the server was hesitant to give it to her and then surprised she liked it....neither of us have ever tried a full plate of it...so I'll let you know how it goes.


9. Every morning I drive to Summer Camp to drop of  Baby C there are 3 locations that Baby C asks to visit every day...1 Starbucks, 2. House of India and 3. Little Switzerland Dolls we've done Starbucks of course but I'm waiting on the other 2 to use them as rewards in some way....we'll see.


10. This morning I was in the lobby at work and I ran into an old co worker from my old job, he was here for an interview. It was surreal...I didn't know him that well but I knew enough that he was good at whatever he did. I hope he gets hired he always seemed like a good wholesome young man, the kind of man you'd want your daughter to marry. But I could be completely wrong.
