Updated Info
LDS family Services has created a new adoption website. It is much better and prettier to look at. The new address is beta.itsaboutlove.org. Our profile was published on Friday. So all of you awesome bloggers out there that added itsbaoutlove.org to your blog, please change it to beta.itsaboutlove.org. That way people can check out the new and improved site! And everyone else - feel free to now add it to your side bar!
We really appreciate all of the support and help in this third attempt at adoption. I have been discouraged and in a "funk" lately. A cold weather, post-holiday, smoggy air, want a baby funk. We met with our case worker last week and she said that more and more often birth mothers are coming into agencies already with a family in mind. Either from finding them online or through someone they both know. I know part of my responsibility is to be proactive and promote our adoption, but it's not always easy. This is not meant to be a woe is me moment (but it kind of sounds like it). I realize that many people have been waiting longer than we have and I understand that our first two babies came so fast that we were spoiled. It doesn't make the waiting any easier. So in an attempt to take as much control as I can in this situation, we are launching a new promotional campaign for our family. Really that's fancy talk for trying out some new ideas. More to come on them later. . .
