Ringing in the New Year 2010

Our new years started at 7:30 PM and ended at 8:00 PM :)
Short and sweet.

Although we did eat at one of our favorite Indian places. So good, my mouth is watering now.

At around 7:58 PM we found a clip on the internet of the ball dropping. We wore hats and blew out horns. The kids loved it. This is the first year we've celebrated with them, they had never heard of this holiday. Ha ha. Someday we will let them stay up until 9:00 PM :)

UT Christmast Eve and Christmas Day 2010

To be completely honest, we have the two most amazing sets of parents on this planet. They go out of their way to make our stay in Utah the best. They go completely overboard with the gifts. Both houses we are so spoiled, and so blessed. We love our parents more than words can say, and we love all our brothers, sister in laws, nieces and nephews. We miss our families tons when we leave, but always have so much love in our hearts to last until the next time we see them.

Thank you to both our families for making Christmas 2010 a fabulous holiday! We of course wish we could have spent more time with everyone...but are glad for those we did get to see!

Christmas Eve started out with a get together with my moms side of the family. Lots were missing this year, but so glad we got to see some of my cousins...who I love and adore, look up to and admire.

Bren with Lia
(Bren just had knee surgery and was down the whole time we were there...crappy)

Later that night we headed up to Davey's parents for dinner and sibling gift exchange. Nancy and KC planned a special night with the story of Jesus' birth and a beautiful song. I'm sad to say that the kids of course ruined the 'specialness' ... long gone are the days of quiet. But we had so much fun with our cousins!

Christmas morning was at my moms. This year was special because we were able to skype with my brother Josh who is on his mission! Yes, skype...webcam! Seeing his face was so fun! We opened presents from everyone, and enjoyed being together.

Around noon we headed up to Davey's parents house. Poor Emmy was sick, so they were able to be there...which we were so sad about. But of course we loved being with everyone.

This picture cracks me up of Madsen. In his new raincoat!
