Mercy's Sketch Challenge #87

TGIF.....!!!!! That is all I can say. It has been an exhausting week and I am so glad it is nearly over. Between kinder drop off and feeling very tired - keep forgetting to take my iron tablets - I just want to sleep all weekend long. I wish. Election day tomorrow, so us plebbs here in Australia have to go vote for our new Prime Minister. Hmmm am really wondering who is really fit to run this country of ours and I don't like either of the two leaders of the main parties. Oh well gotta vote. It is compulsory here in Australia if you are over the age of 18yrs or you get a fine. How silly is that....????!!!! Anyway. On to my card.

I have been meaning to join in with one of Mercy's sketch Challenges for a while but time always seems to get away from me but this week I was able to put something together with the gorgeous Fathom by Sweet November stamps for All That Scraps. She is wonderful to colour and the little sea horses are the cutest ever.

Holly Starshine and friend

Wow got some more cards done and I wanted to show you before I popped them in the post and forgot to post on here. As I said earlier today I bought these gorgeous Sweet November digi stamps from ATS about 2 weeks ago and haven't had a chance to colour and make some cards. So here they are. The top card is Holly Starshine and her little friend is Mistletoe Snowhill. Hehehe I just love their names.

I will admit these are not fancy. Not a lot of embellishments as they will be sent to people who appreciate my card making but probably wouldn't keep them IYKWIM. When making this card it gave me a chance to use some of my Kaisercraft stamps that have been gathering dust this year. Hahaha last year I bought a stamp set and had all intention of using them for all my christmas cards and then I discovered all the other fabbo stamps out there. So there goes that idea. No matter.

Digi Sparkle

Good morning. No Twilight inspired cards from me today. Thought I would go with a gorgeous digi image from Sweet November stamps - sold at All That Scraps. This is Tangle Goblin Shimmer. Loving the names of these gorgeous illustrations by the very talented Amy. I have to get myself some of her Christmas digi's too - OMG the little elf is just adorable.

Okay enough babble. Hahaha. I made this card with the Stamp with Fun sketch and kept it very simple. Every time I put something else on the card it just didn't look right. I feel like I did a male card as there is hardly anything on it. At least I can add flowers. Lol. Over at Papertake Weekly Challenge the theme this week is Digi Sparkle - so you need to use something digital on your creation and some sparkle. I added some kindyglitz to her wings and to the flowers.

Afternoon everyone. Sorry to bombard you with lots of posts today but I promised that I would post this card to Amy who designed these gorgeous Pixie stamps for All That Scraps. I couldn't wait to get my hands on these gorgeous creations so bought the digi stamps of them all. This is Fidget Goblin spider. Hehehe such a cute name and if you knew the reason behind the name then you would think it is even cuter.

I made this card for Mojo Monday 111. I did the card a little differently to the sketch but it is your own interpretation of the sketch so this is mine. LOL.
