New colouring and sketch card

Morning all. Hope we are all having a great week. Did you enjoy the Spesch blog hop yesterday. It is still running so if you want to win some new stamps from the new release go to the blog here.

It is Thursday so it means it is my Mad for Markers show day. Now on the weekend I had the Copic Intermediate Certification and we learnt new techniques that I love but will have some time to get used to. I made this card using the Sunday Sketch and Stamp sketch. I decided to use this sketch as it ties in somewhat with the rule of thirds that I learnt at the class.

The new TOMIC challenge started this week so this will be perfect for that also as it ties in with their first challenge of 'Make a Birthday creation'. Here ya go LOL.

Now if you look at all the Copic colours you will see that I used a lot more than I normally do but in some respects - less. Weird I know.

Copic used:
Skin: E000, E21, E11, E04
Hair: E50, 35, 39, 49
Top: R21, 24, 29, B97 (complimentary colour)
Pants: B91, 95, 97, BG10, YR12(CC)
Present: YG11, 23, 25
Ribbon on present: YR000, 12, 14

I used the Neenah 352gsm card from Mad for Markers.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp #56

Morning all. Yep another Gorjuss Girl. This is one by Santoro. She is just so darn cute. It is called 'The Owl'. I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp. I used the Cream Cordenons card I purchased from Shop Bron last week. I got it in the mail yesterday and had to use it straight away. It is the best card to colour on if you don't want to use white. It gives brighter colours (I think anyway). If you want to see the difference in the colours go to this post I did last week.

I have another sick boy home this week. Last week it was Tyler with the flu and this week it is Lachlan with a huge Ulcer in his mouth that is causing him a lot of grief. Poor thing just won't stop crying on and off and there isn't much I can do about it.

Enjoy your day.

Sunday sketch and Stamps by Barbara

Hi my name is Tracey and I am a sketch addict. LOL. I love my sketches. Can't you tell. Hehehe. Okay seriously I love the simplicity of this sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and thought it was perfect with this gorgeous Kraftin' Kimmie stamp - name is Isabelle. Isn't she the cutest. I coloured her on Neenah 352gsm from Mad for Markers. It would have to be my favourite card but there are a couple of issues with it. 1. It won't print on my printer so no digital images and 2. It does bleed a little but I am working that out. No over blending - which is a habit of mine. I will show you a couple of examples of me not over blending on the same card later in the week.

I tried to do a cloudy background and got the colours right but the shapes ended up looking like a bricked background. So I tried to fix it with a little success but not too much to my liking. Anyone I am my worst critic and I am sure it is fine. Hope you enjoy your weekend. Being mothers day and all tomorrow I am looking forward to a sleep in and some new slippers (which I do actually need LOL). Bye.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp sketch

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well. I am getting better thankfully but taking my boys to the Dr today to see about their awful coughs. Hopefully something can be done about it.

Today I just wanted to show you a card I made with Little Angel from The Stamping Bazaar. Marina is bringing out the cutest stamps and I can't wait to get them all LOL. Yesterday Shy Sammy was released. She is so cute. At least I think it is a she. A little Mammoth. Gorgeous. Pop on over and get you digital stamp now along with this little guy and Hansel with Flowers.

For this card I used the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Enjoy your day. Will be back soon with my WOYWW.

Products: The Stamping Bazaar Little Angel digi stamp; Kaisercraft DP; Nesties; Flowers; Punch Bunch leaf punch.
