#BSMPhotoADay - January Edition & Giveaway!

Aaaaaaand we’re back with a new #BSMPhotoADay! Woohoo!
Let’s kick the year off with fun photo prompts AND a giveaway shall we?!

Directions

It’s super easy peasy to join our challenge! First, take the picture above and share it on Instagram to let your friends know you’ll be joining! :) 

Then all you have to do is take a picture each day with the photo prompt of the day. For example, the first day of January is ‘Bookish goals’ so you’d simply take a picture of your bookish goals. It can be your tbr list for 2015, or a book you’d like to read in January…. anything! Once you take the picture, upload it to Instagram or Twitter and tag us @Booksoulmates and use hashtag #BSMPhotoADay. Remember, this month you’ll be entered to win a $15 Amazon gift card so make sure you use that hashtag and tag us! Giveaway open to international book lovers too! Good luck lovelies!

Hard to believe but March marks the one-year anniversary of our #BSMPhotoADay bookish photo-challenge. Crazy, right?

To celebrate, we wanted to do something extra special so we decided to host a special Scavenger Hunt complete with prizes for both our U.S. and our international followers.

To enter, leave a comment here or on the Rules & Prizes photo on IG with a way for us to contact you (via email or twitter handle) and what state/country you are located in. We will choose TWO winners (one each for the prizes shown) at the beginning of April :)

#BSMPhotoADay in August!

We decided to do something a little different with #BSMPhotoADay for August.  Instead of a random list of bookish stuff, we have a THEME! 

For the month of August, the theme is "This or That?"  
Totes fun, right?

We've given you a list of "opposing" prompts and you have to show us, in a photo of course, which one you prefer.  This might also be a good way to share with others some of your favorite books about a particular character, subject, genre, writing style, etc.

#BSMPhotoADay in May!

We are so happy that the #BSMPhotoADay challenge that we hosted on Instagram back in March was such a huge success!  In fact, we decided to bring it back for the month of May.  I'm sure you all noticed that we skipped April.  We actually decided to do that simply because we thought it best to spread it out a bit.  It also gave us some time to work on the list for May as well as some other, themed-challenges we plan on revealing this Summer :)

#BSMPhotoADay on Instagram

We recently opened a brand new Instagram account (http://instagram.com/booksoulmates) solely dedicated to Book Soulmates (the blog) where we can share some fun bookish stuff with you guys!

We really want to have some fun with it so for the month of March, we're hosting a Photo-A-Day Challenge :)  There are no prizes at the end.  This is strictly for funsies and possibly as a way to make some new bookish friends!

We will be conducting this challenge on Instagram, but it's okay if you don't have an account.  You can still participate by uploading your pictures to Twitter and using the hashtag: #BSMPhotoADay.
