When I blog about the joys of being a parent, I usually come across a video of a parent or child doing something sweet, special or funny.  Or even babies!

For the first time I will be blogging about grandparents on this segment, and they're no ordinary grandma and grandpa - these two are super cool. They sing a song for their grandson, Josh who is turning 18 years old, and it's absolutely adorable.  

Watch as they sing "those 18-yr old Birthday Blues" LOL.

OMG Hilarious! - This Is For You Grandma

One of the Cyanide and Happiness artists, Matt, had this to say about today's comic.

"Earlier this week, my grandmother passed away after a year and a half struggle with cancer.  She was a bubbly, sweet woman with and infectious laugh who I think would have wanted her memory honored doing what I do best:  making borderline-offensive jokes that she doesn't quite get, but she's proud of anyway.  I love you, Grandma."

This cute kid taped himself lip-synching to Tyga's "Rack City", and Grandma had fun doing it.  I'm not lying, so you have to check out the video for yourself.

I Kissed A Girl, And I Liked It !

If you missed last night's episode of Glee, you didn't miss much.  Just the part where Santana came out to her "abuelita" aka grandmother.  Actually, the entire show was about Santana and the support she garnered from the rest of the Glee cast.

The performances featuring hit songs by Pink, K.D. Lang, and Melissa Etheridge, were commendable at best, but it was the "I Kiss A Girl" song by Katy Perry that made the night.   I'm sure it will create a lot of controversy with the religious right, but it was great.  

In the end, grandma wants nothing to do with her Latina grandaughter, and kicks her ass out of the house.  "It would have been best to keep it a secret than to disgrace the family," she says.

Uh, sorry grandma, but a liar and a deceiver are two things I wouldn't want to be.

Hey Granny, How 'Bout You Make Me A Pie?

Absolutely wonderful!  LOL, Julian Smith visits his 95-year old granny, and he wants some pie.  Granny is an absolute hoot, and I love her!! She says it like it is!  

Of course, Julian isn't having any of it, he wants Granny to make him a pie that doesn't consist of strawberries, because he's "deathly allergic" to them.

The "making of the video" outtakes are the best part.  Julian has a difficult time teaching Granny to say, "for pwning noobs".  You can check that out after the jump...
