Flower Being

I love how there is no plan for this art.

just lots of play and then sensing....

Sensing who wants to show up on the paper.

Feels like beings from other realms, who want

to live in our realm in the form of art.

Open and Receive

He stepped from the autumn woods
to find her
offering golden light

~

Feels so good to complete a painting.
I started this in July
life had some other plans for me, besides painting.

Now I get to start another painting, wahoo
~

I hope you are all enjoying our new season.
There is something about the thresholds of seasons,
the air holds a different energy
two seasons greeting one another
dancing back and forth.
A heightened sense of life perhaps.

Here in NW Montana
it feels as though we have truly entered autumn,
summer has vanished.

Lovely autumn to you!

Painting available here.

Flower Fairy

Everywhere she went
rays of light danced and flickered
~

a painting from the course I am taking with Pävai Eerola
I am enjoying her lessons and the multitude of layers that go into them.

Wee Fae

on her walk

a wee fae caught her attention

she always knew the folk existed

today, the little fairy

revealed herself

with a bouquet of flowers

Resting calm

Up on the blue mushroom she attracted a blue bird.

As the sun set, the horizon turned a soft blue too.

Flower buds folded their petals and lay their lovely heads to sleep for the night.

All hearts in the land began to find a resting calm.

Last Inktober piece

On Samhain he stepped into the woods to visit the tall cup fungi.
Low and behold, a tiny fairy was there, tossing spores into the air.

It was fun to let Inktober inspire art.
I hope I am in a rhythm now and will continue creating.

I hope you all enjoyed Halloween

Sliding through the Woods

With her wand in hand, she summons a breeze to take her through the trees.

Please forgive me for posting a Christmas like image this early in the year ;-).

She Met a Fairy

she stood quite still
hoping the fairy would come near
and whisper in her ear

~
update:

The fairy said:
when you blow out that candle let it's light pour into your heart.

Magic of the Woods

One never knows what they will see when they wander in the woods

my computer died....
On my iPad here, I don't seem to make the photos larger
I think you can click on the images to see the magical details larger

( computer up and running, got to make images larger, yay)

InkTober Day 1

opening her heart
the breath of life filled her
stance of ecstasy was all she knew

~

I have been drawing the past few days
before that ...
it was not that I did not have the desire
or
that I did not have inspiration
both I have had
I just did not sit down to draw for a very long time

I missed art
and it is happy making
in a tangible quiet way to do so again

Lovely October to you!

a tiny leafhopper
hopped on and we had a wee visit

believe it or not
these two sketches are part of the same piece

PPF: Hunchback Fairy

little hunchback fairy

perfect to support her wings

inspiring freedom of flight into all domains

Above is a floor tile that I saw this little fairy in
do you see her?
This is what inspired the painting.

Promise of Spring

more than a promise of spring
in her wee terrarium
all winter long
with love and protection
she holds
the first sprout
for the birth of spring

an example of where my inspiration comes from:

Little Friend

Usually I look at my art, during the sketch
or when it is complete
and
something comes to me,

something about what it is about.

You know, the little things I write under my paintings.
A small blip of prose,
just enough to ignite your imagination
so that you can make it your own.

This time, all I have is:

little friend

Do you have something more?
