Okay, this time I am going to share with you pictures that I didn't take myself but were taken by my niece during her visit late last May 2010 to my hometown, Tudela, Camotes Island in the Northern part of Cebu Province. Cebu is about 45 minutes by plane from the City of Manila, Philippines. I have her consent to post these pictures as this week's My World Tuesday entry.
One of the popular attractions and the most visited caves in the island is the Bukilat Cave, located in Barangay McArthur about 5 km from the main town of Tudela. It has a pool of cool crystal clear water inside where you can take a dip and relax while enjoying the beauty of nature. The water is a seawater as this is located less than a km from a beach. It is best to visit there during high tide because the pool gets enough water for bathing. And one more thing, the cave has natural lighting that gets in through gaps in the roof part of the cave making the inside not so gloomy and dark.

Beautiful cave shots. Crystal clear water is definitely nice place to take a dip.
oh, you're from Camotes? i've been there, been to this cave. Camotes is beautiful--i'd like to buy a house and retire there someday.:p
The light coming from the top makes this cave very special - love the way the natural light makes the water and rocks sparkle.
That had to be a fun swim!
