My World Tuesday

This is our fish tank which was set -up few years ago. It was hubby who has the passion and interest of it which urged him to set up our own tank. It is a fresh water tank with a heating device and contains a selection of compatible tropical fishes with artificial plants and some natural decorations, such as wooden logs and various rocks with interesting shapes. It is about 1.5 meters long, 55 cm depth and contains about 371 ltr of water. Thank you to That's my World! Tuesday team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia for this meme. My World Tuesday

Here is my World Tuesday post taken at the Sensory Garden of Nurragingy Reserve during our visit last weekend.

(the entrance)

The Sensory Garden allows visitors to use their senses while exploring the gardens. Visitors can listen to the sounds of the water fountain, smell and see the beautiful plants, flowers and shrubs growing and there is a pebble boarder to guide people with sight impairments around the garden.

The Sensory Garden is named after Fred Hollows who was a passionate ophthalmologist who became known for his work in helping to restore the eyesight of countless thousands of people in developing countries and his passionate plight to improve Indigenous health here in Australia. In 1993 he lost his battle with cancer aged 63. (source: Blacktown City Council site)Thank you to That's my World! Tuesday team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia for this meme. Blue Monday

Last Sunday while we were strolling the park a blue umbrella caught my eyes. It was with a lady in a group having a picnic along the side of the big pond of the Reserve. When I looked more closely at the picture it is not the umbrella alone which is blue but also the chairs that they are sitting on are blue too and I think those blues cluttered on the ground are the storage bags of the folding chairs. See also, the little blue lid of the bottle of water, the jacket that is hanging at the back of the chair behind the lady is some kind of blue and that thing in between the two bottles which I don't know is blue too. Lots of blue here that I can see. Hope you can spot all of them..

This is my little boy's old wall clock. We bought it last year for him

Shadow Shot Sunday

These were taken at the Blue Mountains where my sister lives about 45 minutes drive from where we live. The first two photos were taken at the car park next to a public school which is close to the house of my sister.
