Tri Shutter Card - Happy Birthday

Hi. This is my first try at a Tri-Shutter Card. I find it a bit complicated but its so interesting because of the fact that it has so many panels to embellish. I have used really soft pastel colors for this card. The white flowers are handmade with lace. Rest of the stuff is pretty self-explanatory so I won't write much here. The sentiment is stamped on vellum.

Tall Card with Handmade Flowers

Hi everyone!! Hope you all had a nice weekend and lovely Mother's Day celebrations. I was working on a couple of projects which are yet not complete. Here is a tall card that I made last week. All the blooms that you see here are handmade.

This is a picture of the tiny flowers that I had shared on Fb few days back. Although they require lot of patience, I love making these tiny blooms to use as fillers for my projects. The orange vine that you see on the card above is made using the orange flowers in the pic below.

Here is a collage of few close-ups of the card. Click to enlarge..

Father's Day card for Lulupu Challenge DT Inspiration

Hey guys! It's the start of a brand new month and we have a fabulous challenge up at Lulupu blog - My First Love, My Dad!! This is my take on this month's theme. I actually wanted to make a guitar shaped card but wasn't sure how it would shape up as the top part of the card would become very thin. So instead I used these fabulous PPs from my Lulupu DT kit and hand cut this guitar. For the guitar I have used a PP from Zephyr paper pad. For the bg I have used MME 6x6 Blink of an eye paper pad.
A closer look at the detailing..
The sentiment is a print out from a digi I found on the net. I have adhered it using a brad so that it can be moved around.

A Tall Card

As you can see I am loving these tall n slim cards and I have made quite a few of them. I was really bored with those 4x6 cards and wanted to try something different but not a complicated one.
The papers used are from K and Co. bought from Priya's store. The die-cut swirl is from Ujjwal. I made the bloom using my daisy punches and layering them.
Hope you like my card. Thanks a for visiting. Have a great day!

Cute Animals Card

Hi there. Today I am sharing a card which is quite different from my usual type. It is a tall card and I have done stamping also to try out this new stamp set that I purchased :)
I have kept the card pretty simple and added a punched border on sides. The orange panel is stuck using foam tape, so it has this 3D feel to it.
I would also like to share some of my recent wins at various blogs for my Shabby Chic Cart. I am overwhemled with such great comments and appreciation for my project.

1. I made it Top 3 and won the Shabby Chic Challenge #24 at BGC
2. I made it to the Top 3 at MilkCoffee Challenge - Make it Cute
3. I won at Sarah Hurley Challenges #77 - Anything but a Card
4. I won at Crafter's Corner #5 - Expression of Love

Hope you like my today's card as well.

Wedding Card with MS Punches

Hi all. I made this card and this quilled photo frame for a client who wanted to gift it to her niece immediately after her wedding in court. The bride was thrilled to receive this handmade surprise gift.
To add a personal touch, she added the couple's photo on the tag along with a hand-written message.
The flowers on the band are handmade using 5 petal punch.
The client had to carry the box to Delhi, so I made a sturdy packaging for the card and frame. I upcycled a sweet box by covering it with fancy paper, to hold the gifts.
Here's a peek at the full package..
Thanks a lot for visiting my blog and showering me with so many wonderful comments. I love reading all your comments.

Bottle shaped card

Hey there! Today I want to share a card that I made for my dad's ex-boss on his retirement.
My mom and dad wanted me to make a card in a different shape so I came up with a bottle shaped card.
Here it is...
As you can see I also made a matching envelope with the card.
My dad had sent me the wordings for the card, so I stuck the greetings on the right inner side and made a tag for the left side.
The tag can also be used as a bookmark later.
A close-up of the front side...If you see carefully, the flourishes are actually the negative part of the punched border used for the envelope, which we normally discard. Also the little stars added on the greeting inside is from the punched border.
