Desperately trying to keep up my exercise routine in summer. This worked twice, I think.
We tried the Acton Movie in the Park and it was FREEZING. I was excited to have an excuse to wear a sweatshirt but even that wasn't enough.
This Summer was so very pleasant. The kids either slept in a bit or they got up and fed themselves. Honestly, if we had no where to be, I was in bed until 8am. A true luxury after 8 years of early mornings.
I had the chance to take Jenny and the kids to the airport for their summer trip with Ben in D.C.. It reminded me once again how blessed I am to have many loved ones so very close to us.
Ha! We tried to take the kids on a hike to the Hollywood sign and had no luck. We found a weird little park and this was the closest we got. But we often talk about this experience and how it so didn't go the way we planned but we had one of the greatest nights and we all talk about that night often.
Kids held a funeral for this little critter - funny thing is my siblings and I did this when we were young, too.
The dentist with them all - what a summer treat!
Jenny let us use her pool while she was gone and it was wonderful. Especially because it gave us a chance to hang with Markie, Kaitlin, Bri & Rylee.
One of the many reasons I'm grateful for Rylee is because she's brought my sister and I closer.
We changed gyms for Andi and I'm glad we did. She wasn't growing much at the other one and considering this is the one thing she really wants to do, I figured we better do it right!
Andi has been to the dermatologist many, many times this year and she's pretty fricking strong willed. It's totally her call how smoothly that appointment will go. She's always negotiating with the doctor.
It was always a bit smoother when school was in session and these three didn't join us at the dermatologist. But all were ready for a swim date at Lauren's afterwards.
