HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER - another year younger. Amber is a beautiful person in EVERY way so it was a pleasure coming together to celebrate her birth. And of course it was awesome having the excuse to go to CPK!

Now remember, Shay and Mike were still in town so of course we had to work some things out. Andrew was to be playing basketball a half hour after my dinner was scheduled. Gramma Nette and Papa and Tori to the rescue. Andrew took all the kids to Acton when I headed to CPK with Michalle. Ahhh, teamwork :)
When Michalle and I arrived - ONE TIME mind you, Amber, Tina and Cassie were already there. Michalle was in the middle of a riveting story and so we were both focused. Apparently the other three didn't hear our hello and decided to subtly tell us to shut up:

I swear Tina and Michalle weren't still pissed about the previous incident - just focused.

Amber wasn't too thrilled about the Sundae because she wanted cupcakes from the Cupcake Tree. She had a bit but then saved her appetite for what her heart truly desired. So after CPK, we headed to the Tree AND THEY WERE CLOSED. My car got there first so I called to warn Amber - she didn't believe me. As soon as she got there, she banged on the door until Genine (Cupcake Tree owner) opened the door to grant Amber's birthday wish.

We headed to Starbucks because where else can you hang out indoors? It was fun laughing and talking and of course, sipping some warm hot chocolate. Most everyone had to head home after this, so only Tina and I joined Amber back at her place for some pedi/movie time. It was about 10:30 or so once I got there, so yes, ANOTHER LATE night! I think I got into bed around 1am. Ahhh no wonder I can't finish grading my essays without falling asleep.
