Девочки привет! Всё таки, ещё раз убеждаюсь, что скрапбукеры это самые добрые и самые щедрые люди!!! Они не жалеют добрых слов, чтобы подарить другим улыбку и поднять настроение!! Я сегодня снова не надолго... Сделала вчера пару открыточек для блога Les Papiers de Pandore и хочу вам их показать.

В каждый Французский набор с бумагой от Les Papiers de Pandore, входит набор штампов. Некоторые из штампов с фразами я использовала раньше, а на этот цветочек уже тааак долго смотрела, стараясь выкроить время, чтобы куда то его приминить, и вчера наконец решила пожертвовать сном ради этого - иначе пока не получается...

Планировала повырезать розочки для открытки, но мне вдруг понравилось, как они нежно смотрятся вот так просто в белом embossing на цветной бумаге)) Я стала экспериментировать в разных цветах... Видимо, я немного увлеклась, превращая почти однотонную бумагу в эту ажурную, и в итоге у меня получилось четыре одинаковых открытки)))

 Ну, и кто со мной немного знаком, тот наверное уже знает, что черно-белая бумага в полосочку - это мой "любимый цвет"!!

Девочки, на этой неделе у меня появился двухсотый ПЧ!  По такому поводу очень хотелось какой то подарочек сделать... Только время сейчас немного слишком перегруженное. Я обязательно что то придумаю! А так же, постараюсь узнать, что бы такое можно было дарить, чтобы это не слишком дорого было пересылать за границу (а то немного обидно что пересылка выходит дороже подарка!). Birthday layout...

Девочки привет! Как у вас прошли выходные? Мы, всей нашей толпой, даже в ресторан попали на выходных! Правда, посидеть спокойно мне не дали, то одному в туалет хотелось, то другому, а самый младший уснуть в шуме не мог... но, поели вкусно! Кстати, поздравляю всех мамочек с праздником!

 

У меня сегодня новая страничка, которую делала для блога Les Papiers de Pandore. Она может быть и не совсем новая, но здесь её показываю впервые. Люблю использовать на страничках настоящие фото - кадры реальности!

 

  

Вообще, я никогда не любила делать странички с фото со Дня Рождения. Может быть потому, что все странички, которые я встречала на эту тему, всегда были оформлены в очень ярких красках и переполнены всякими детскими украшениями. А здесь я писала не о самом Дне Рождения, как празднике, а об одном моменте, который был особенным в этот день!

Свою страничку старалась делать в строгом стиле, чтобы подходил семьнадцатилетнему ребёнку (неужели ей действительно столько?!). Мне нравится как черно-белая бумага в полосочку по диагонали - любую страничку делает более строгой!

 

 

 

А ещё, я не знаю почему, но очень люблю стрелки на страничках! Здесь она никуда определённо не указывает, но мне нравится как она подчёркивает фото. Мне когда то очень понравилась страничка у Jen Gallacher со стрелками, и я даже в одном из заданий, эту страничку scraplifted. Её можно посмотреть здесь, а здесь ещё один экземпляр странички со стрелкой :))

Из стопки недоделанных работ...

Добрый день! Я уже когда то обещала здесь ничего не обещать, потому что обязательно появиться "стотыщ" причин чтобы обещанное не выполнить... снова так и получилось. Мне всего то нужно было напечатать journaling и сфотографировать готовую работу, но! Никак не вышло. Ладно, я здесь недавно заглянула в знакомую стопку недоделанных работ и вытянула из неё одну из страничек. Делала её примерно осенью, прошлого года. Купила тогда 2 набора бумаги 6х6 от Crate Paper и Heidi Swapp, и пару листочков из этих наборов, очень напомнили детство.

Например, эта зелёная бумага в цветочках, сразу напомнила и нашу весну и бабушкино зелёное платье (у них то тогда платей было поменьше чем у нас сегодня, вот я как раз её помню в том зелёном платье). Тогда я и решила найти одну из старых фотографий и сделать страничку. Люблю мысленно возвращаться в детство...

Я понимаю, что бабочки по теме здесь вроде  не очень подходят, но в данном случае они просто служат как украшение... Они зато по цвету подходят...

Ну и обязательно пару тэгов... Эти тоже все были вырезанны из листа бумаги от Crate Paper. Раньше не могла эту бумагу использовать, пока не дошло что в ней так много "старого" и часто их дизайны помогают вспоминать что то из прошлого. По крайней мере для меня :)

А ещё, у меня вчера была большая радость! С тех пор как закрыли Two Peas in a Bucket, я не могла найти себе замену. Мне нравилось учавствовать в их чалленджах, а на других сайтах я себя не находила. А здесь я вчера узнала, что открылся новый чаллендж блог, на котором, главной целью, будет делиться страничками с присутствием истории или журналинга! Это как раз для меня! Как раз то, что я люблю и очень ценю! Этот блог называется Расскажи Историю. Вы можете зайти и почитать как вдохновлённо девочки говорят о первоначальной цели скрапбукинга! Похоже, что я была не одна, которая любила и ценила запись - они получили довольно много одобрительных отзывов, судя по комментариям. Так что, добро пожаловать скрапбукинг со смыслом! Добро пожаловать новые странички, в которых будут рассказываться новые истории!

Девочки здравствуйте! Спешу поделиться страничкой которую обещала раньше показать! Вчера Beatrice Garni поставила её на своём сайте Esprit Scrapbooking. Я удостоилась чести чтобы мою страничку использовали в качетсве вдохновения для scraplifting challenge! Для этой странички использовала ею предложенную комбинацию цветов.

Layout "Make a wish"...

Фото напечатала на домашнем принтере. И хотя качество не ровняется профиссиональному производителю, всё же иногда очень удобно напечатать фото которое тебе нужно в данный момент и в необходимых форматах.

Бумагу использовала от самых различных производителей: Studio Calico, Webster's Pages, Jenni Bowlin, Basic Grey, Echo Park и карточки из Project Life kit Midnight Edition.

Очень люблю эти одуванчики с Silhouette store! Я их раз использовала на открытке, и наконец смогла использовать на страничке с подходящими фотографиями. Каждый раз удивляюсь какие детали Silhouette может вырезать!

Ненравится погода? - Есть возможность вернуться в лето или побывать  в отпуске, работая с cоответствующими фото. Нет времени? - Разбейте работу на маленькие части - это единственный способ как у меня что то получается! Не знаете с чего начать? - Скопируйте чью то работу. Нет подходящих фотографий? - Напечатайте их дома. Не знаете что написать на страничке? - Напишите просто, не переспрашивая себя дважды и положите листочек в конвертик. Это пункты по которым я часто действую. И не забывайте, что есть PL - а это всегда выход из положения когда другие варианты не работают!

Thoughts on December Daily...

The end of October means it's time to put your December Daily album together.

I've made a DD with Ali Edwards and many others for four years in a row. I loved the idea of documenting day to day life and stories. I LOVED getting supplies together to create a new book that will hold all of these stories. I loved taking pictures and thinking which one of today's moments I want to include in my book to remember for years to come... but...

 
I've been thinking a lot about December Daily lately and I had to make a decision not to make one this year. There are a number of reasons for that, but one main reason that overweight the excitement to join others on yet another fun DD journey was that my scrapbook albums are totally missing Christmas stories.

 
We love to scrapbook summer. I have a little bit of fall and spring related scrapbook pages, but not a single Christmas layout. When I thought about it, it felt a little sad. It seemed like we don't even celebrate Christmas at all. I know why that happens for me. We start Christmas season early... It starts with the stores displaying Holiday merchandise a lot earlier than we are ready to see it. These pictures were taken 2 weeks ago:

December is a pretty busy month around here. When December comes and you finally feel like it's holiday season, that's when you want to scrapbook Christmas! But for four years I concentrated on December daily. We can only do so much. After December was over, I wasn't even done with DD, because towards the end of the month it's usually getting a lot busier. Honestly, sometimes, I didn't even feel like finishing my DD in January, not even talking about making a page.

This year, I want to concentrate on scrapbooking our favorite Christmas and Holiday moments and adding them to our albums! Old memories and new. Funny and precious. Our traditions and people we celebrate our holidays with. I'll still try to take some pictures everyday, but that will be added into my Project Life album.

Also, I didn't make enough Christmas cards last year, so I'm starting early this year and will try to expand my collection throughout the season, so I have a choice when I'll need a card. Here's one I just created last week:

I used some beautiful papers by Les Papiers de Pandore for it.

It does feel a little sad saying NO to DD, but I feel that this is the right decision for me this year. I'm looking forward to making a lot of Christmas cards and creating winter and Christmas layouts!

Scrapbooking on a Budget - Scraplift!

 Hello everyone! Don't you love how scrapbooking hobby gives you so many different outlets to express yourself. Some days you feel like blogging, other days you just wanna stay at your table and create, create, create. That's where I've been missing :) It happens each time I clean my table. I mean when I reeeally clean and reorganize it.

Today I wanted to share another "Scrapbooking on a Budget" secret and two more pages! It may not seem related to Budget at first but I have my reason's behind it :)

Secret #11: Scraplift to save time and money.

There are at least three reasons why scraplifting helps you stay on the budget.

1. First of all, scraplifting saves time, weather you make a very close lift or use a partial idea like photo placement, design, or color combination. 
2. It's pretty easy to guess pieces of papers you will use by checking project you are scraplifting, so you don't waste your favorite product by cutting a bigger piece and then cutting away smaller pieces that will not be good for anything else.
3. Scraplifting is a great exercise for beginners especially. You can save money on classes, since some classes teach by making you copy a project anyway. There are ton's of great classes and workshops that teach you more amazing thing's and techniques, but you can start learning by scralifting.

I have two examples for you today. First one is a very close scraplift of a layout by Jennifer Gallacher.  Jennifer is one of my most scraplifted scrapbookers. When I saw THIS page, I knew I will be scraplifting it! I just wanted my album to have one like that too. I started making this by choosing products that were as similar as possible to the ones she used.

 I did just a few minor changes along the way like including my journaling in a different spot and to shrinking her 12x12 page into a smaller 8.5x11 size. But the outcome is pretty similar.

 
After making this page, I learned that I love using arrows on the page and I started including them a lot more often now.

My second page was inspired by Nichole Magouirk. I love the way she used butterflies on THIS page, and I love her color combination here. Again, I did my page on a smaller format. Used two photos instead of one. Used papers and products I had on hand, not trying to match any of hers. But I had a visual example that took all of the guessing work out of the game. This layout came out pretty quickly.

The story is about Liana's uncle that always needed a kiss from her...

All of the butterflies were cut with Cameo, which made all the detailed work of the page - a piece of cake. All I had to do is change the size and pattern paper. I used a stamp by Les Papiers de Pandore and a few printables by Heidy Swapp.

And of course I have to mention, that scraplifting is allowed and even incouraged as long as we mention the name of the artist who made the original project. I can tell from my own experience, it was so nice to receive an email from a lady across the country telling me that she scraplifted one o my pages. She also left a link, so I could go check her scraplifted page out. Feels great knowing, that someone was inspired by your work!

New collections by Les Papiers de Pandore!

Hello girls! Les Papiers de Pandore released their new Fall/Winter 2013 collections! I was SO excited to see these in person! They look awesome! The first one is called Crochetin', and this collection is dedicated to pampering and anything handmade or "do it yourself"; and has beautiful shades of yellow, cream, grey and a touch of purple!

Here is the page Julie made using the first collection.  She is such an amazing artist! I love everything she makes!

It reminded me of so many precious memories from my childhood. Hopefully, I can record some of them using this goodness!

The second collection is called Winter Memories, and it's a winter theme collection. Papers in this collection have soft watercolor effect. It's a beautiful combination of teal, pink and cranberry colors.

Cardmaking week

Good morning! I was in a card making mood last week. Maybe because that's all I could afford time wise. The summer is passing with an unbelievable speed! We try to do more together as a family, which leaves very little time to create. But I'm enjoying this time a lot!

The first card was made with lovely Les Papiers de Pandore papers and their stamps.

Same with the second card, but in a different style. I LOVE their collections this season SO much! And the quality of their stamps is amazing! It always gives a perfect impression of such an intricate stamp.

There were some flowers that I've cut out from Echo Park paper that I wanted to use on a card. I added a few pieces of paper but couldn't find a perfect match for the background so I used a LPDP piece of paper.

 Card #4, again, made in my favorite color combination yellow/grey/blue, using LPDP paper and one of their badges.More cut out flowers from Echo Park paper.

And a last one last week was a quick "Thank You" card. Also LPDP.

All of the cards have coordinating pattern paper on the back. I love to add that final step that makes a card a little more sturdy, otherwise cards flip forward, since the front is so much heavier.

Two new lines by Les Papiers de Pandore!

Hello! Another super busy week around here. Today, I just wanted to share some exciting news with you. Les papiers de Pandore just released two new lines and they are having a giveaway to celebrate it! The first line is called Itineraire bis. The papers come in 12x12 and 6x6 sizes.

LO "Moment"...

Good morning! I'm back. Still trying to find the best way, time and spot in the house to photograph finished projects. Sometimes even a great camera doesn't help. These pictures were taken by the window, and you can tell that by the harsh shadows on the left side of the page... Any tips?

Here is the 12x12 layout I made using Little Winter Circus and Everyday Portraits collections by Les Papiers de Pandore :

Making this page was a great reminder how much I really love scrapbooking! Having great products to work with is even better! I cut up the "moment" journaling card in half, adding one portion at the top of the pictures and the other one at the bottom, making it look like one long card.

I also used a stamp by Les papiers de Pandore, which I embossed in white embossing powder. And to support the stamping idea, I went ahead and embossed a few butterflies...

... and white cardstock, that I laid underneath the journaling card. Wanted to keep the page pretty light, to represent the innocence of little children in these photos.
