The Best Thing I Ever Ate

Did you ever see that show where people talk about their favourite foods? Well, this cake really deserves to be talked about. I have been eyeing it for some time and finally decided to try it. Oh... it is... so... um... yes, just the best thing I ate this summer.

Well, I ate a whole more delicious deserts (way more then I was supposed to), and many of them were great, but for some reason this tops them all.


And now back to scrapbooking. This is the other LO I made for the same person. "Happy YOU":

That baby paper stack from SEI is a must have for anyone who has a girl in the family! All the papers are just so lovely in that collection. I used some of them here again. Actually, I could use them throughout entire baby album for unified look and never get tired of them.



I punched circled from the circle design paper and added pearls again.


Same with journaling - quote stamp, and finished it off with my signature - stitching.

    Anya this page looks absolutly amazing! Love those soft color combinations and embelishments.
    After looking at that page just makes me want to have another baby girl :-)

    Аня этот тортик выглядит очень заманчиво, нужно будет как то попробывать, только не сегодня, а то если я доберусь до чего то такого то вкусненького то съем всё.

    Again, another beautiful layout. I love pearls on the page yet, never made any pages with them -got to try that. What is that cake? You made it or bought it or what? It sort of looks like coffee crumb cake.

    So lovely in so many ways! The punched out circles just add so much fluidity and continuity to the page. I also love how the smaller picture has a rounded corner.

    Sorry, I really meant to say it in the post. It was a Butter Cake by Paula Deen from Wal-Mart. It's not very cheep, but I bought it when it was on sale. Yumm...

    it seems like Paula Deen puts butter in everything she makes. Tha only thing i use butter is for mashed potatoes. I know Anka is not a big fan of it either

    You're right, Duska! I don't really like it, and only put some in mashed potatoes or some recipes like waffles.
