Just in time for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #116! This time I chose one stamp from the Rescue Remedies set. I used different dies to make the background. The first one is made with the Spellbinders Labels Four, then Fancy Tags Two, Marvelous Squares and the French Pastry doily of Cheery Lynn Designs. The red background is made with the Sizzix Holly Swirls embossing folder. I also made two cute cookies with clear embossing powder. They are from the Waltzingmouse Candy Jar Christmas Fillers stamp set. I stitched the edges. To finish my card, I also added two little bells, some twine and ribbons and a few rhinestones.

I also stamped the Lace Edges stamp on vellum. I made some felt and vellum flowers with the Sizzix Flowers, 3-D. I just stitched some of the edges, put some velvet ribbon and twine and a few pearls.

White Christmas Card.
I saw that this week at CASology there is a white challenge! A few days ago I made a white vellum poinsettia card with a red background and as I love this flower, I decided to make another white poinsettia but with a white background! I stamped the flower twice, cut some parts and put them on foam pads to give a 3D effect. The flower and the sentiment are both from the Poinsettia & Boxwood stamp set of Flourishes. I just added a few rhinestones to finish it.

White Poinsettia.
This week at Flourishes the Timeless Tuesday #186 is all about Christmas... Pinterest Christmas! All we have to do is find a Christmas inspiration photo on Pinterest, link it to our blog and show off our Pinterest inspired creation! I typed the word "poinsettia " in the search and found this beautiful poinsettia card of Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace. On my card, I made a vellum and white embossed poinsettia with the Poinsettia & Boxwood stamp set of Flourishes. I cut some parts of the flower twice and put them on foam pads to give a 3D effect. I also put some yellow rhinestones in the middle. I just added a little tag, some ribbons, twine and a yellow button. The sentiment on the tag is from the Alleluia Angel stamp set. Like it because it's in french! This card is very simple but I love how this vellum poinsettia turned out!

Hello Baby!
There's a sketch challenge at Flourishes! I wanted to make a card for a baby boy so I chose the beautiful Hello Baby stamp set of Flourishes. I also used one of the Spellbinders Labels Eight die, one Fancy Tags Two die and the doily is made with the Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry die. I put all the different layers on foam pads. I also made a little tag with a GO Kreate die. To finish it off, I just added a May Arts ribbon and a bow, a button and a few pearls.

Violas.
This week at the Timeless Tuesday #185 of Flourishes we are asked to create a mini card! No larger than 4"x 3"! That's really small! I chose the violas from the Botanical Bookplates stamp set of Flourishes. I added some dimensional pearlescent paint on the middle of the little flowers. The white background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I made some stitching with my sewing-machine. I added a white flower, a Marianne Design butterfly, some green velvet ribbon and twine. I used the sketch of the Mojo Monday 257-Contest.

Purple and Blue.
Hello! This is my second post for today so please scroll down to see my previous one!
The Timeless Tuesday #184 is all about the colors purple and blue! Not easy at all I think... I used a dark blue color for the silhouette in the center. This stamp and the antique lace frame come both from the Love and Lace stamp set of Flourishes. I added a French Pastry doily die of Cheery Lynn Designs and a Spellbinders die called Fancy Tags Two. The sentiment on the tag comes from the Tiny Flowers and Tags stamp set. The card base is made with one of the Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Squares die. I stitched the edges and just added some ribbons, lace, twine and pearls to finish it off. I had never used these two colors together before, but I really like how this card turned out!

This month the hostess is me, Anne-Elise, and we've been challenged to Remember our Friends! Where would we be without our friends? We laugh together and share our dreams, and when things are hard, we want to be there for them or be a shoulder to cry on when they grieve. Today we remember those friends with Sympathy, Missing You, Thinking of You or even Wishing You Were Here cards and perhaps we'll even have a special story to tell you about those friends that have inspired us along the way.
If you've jetted in from Betty's blog, then you have arrived at the right destination! If you haven't, perhaps you'd like to start your journey back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss all the beautiful inspiration along the way!
I'm so happy that this month we have been challenged to remember our dear Friends! You know that I have two nationalities and so I have a lot of friends in Finland and in Switzerland. I have also traveled in Europe, in the United States and Canada and so this month, I wanted to make a card to all my dear friends living abroad, because unfortunately I haven't the possibility to see them very often... and I really miss them. I chose this gorgeous sentiment, because it just says what I like... laughing and sharing pleasures! I wish I could travel around the world and meet all of you, my Friends... Miss you so much! The last photo is for all of you... a little sight of our beautiful lake... welcome to Finland!
This card was made with the beautiful Flourishes sentiment called Sweetness of Friendship. I also added some flowers from the Summer Blossoms stamp set. One flower was stamped on vellum and embossed with white powder. The vellum butterfly is from the Fanciful Flourishes stamp set and the sentiment on the tag is from Mix-N-Mugs. The tag was made with one of the Spellbinders Tailor-made Classic Tags Die Set. The white background was made with the retired Damask stamp and I embossed it with clear powder, love this shiny effect! Just added some ribbons, lace, twine, stitching and some pearls!
Thanks for taking time to visit me here in Finland, it's time to grab your passports and board Flourishes Flight BWT, your next destination is:
