All my Love is Yours.

Here's my card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #126. I have to tell you why I felt like making a card with a heart... Can you imagine how chocked I was when I noticed that the diamond that was on my wedding ring was missing!!! And of course I wasn't at home... so it could be somewhere in the snow or in the car, who knows!! Well, when I got back home, I took a flashlight and look at the floors everywhere. And guess what?? It's incredible but I found it in the bathroom!!! I was sooo happy!!! My husband thought that I would never find it again! And so I just had to make a card for him!!

The heart is from the Seasons of Love - Tags set. The sentiments are also from the same set. The sentiment on the heart is framed with the Fancy framed Tags Two of Spellbinders. The stamped background is from the Way out West set. The vellum doily is made with the Dainty Doilies 2 Small set. I also made one vellum and two felt flowers with my Sizzix Flowers, 3-D die. I stitched the edges, added some ribbons, a bow, a button and a cute little key charm.

Here's Iwona's great sketch:

December Beautiful World Tour.

Beautiful World Graphic

Hello Beautiful World! Naomi is our hostess this month and she chose to challenge us to create something that shines like ice and glass! So cuddle up with a cup of cocoa and get ready to embark around this beautiful world!

Did you know that your travels around the Flourishes World gives you the opportunity to WIN a free FLOURISHES STAMP SET?? All we ask is that you leave a comment on each one by December 31st for your chance to win!

If you've jetted in from Meredith's blog, then you have arrived at the right destination! If you haven't, perhaps you'd like to start your journey back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss all the beautiful inspiration along the way!

For my card I chose the beautiful stamp of the Christmas Candles set of Flourishes. I colored it and then added some glossy accents to make it look like glass. I also put some tiny red glass beads on the decoration around the candle.  The bow is made with some cream seam binding. The sentiment on the tag is from the retiring set Alleluia Angel. The layers are made with the Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two and the Floral Ovals dies. The doily is made with the Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry die. One of the background is made with the retired Damask Background stamp of Flourishes. I clear embossed it. The other background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The poinsettia is made with the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia dies. I stitched the edges, added some ribbons, lace, twine, a red button and two cute little bells to finish it off.

We have snow in Finland now and this morning the weather is very cold, -23 degrees Celsius (-9,4 degrees Fahrenheit)! It's time to put wood in the chimney and light candles!

Thanks for taking time to visit me, it's time to grab your passports and board Flourishes Flight BWT, your next destination is:

Hugs.

Just in time for the Timeless Tuesday #195. We are asked to look at the photo below and make something that is inspired by the colors or objects we can see. I made a vellum heart with one of the stamp of the Hearts & Flowers set. I love it! I also made a felt heart, two Marvelous Squares die cuts and one Fancy Tags Two die cut of Spellbinders. The stamped background is from the Love and Lace stamp set. I stitched the edges, added some ribbons, lace and twine. I also added a little tag with a sentiment from the Tiny Flowers and Tags of Flourishes. Here it is:

Little Lantern and Flowers.

There's a very beautiful photo for The Ribbon Reel challenge #39. We are just asked to create a card using the colors in the photo plus ribbon / twine / burlap and make it shabby. I chose one cute little lantern of the Waltzingmouse Little Lanterns stamp set. I made a burlap and felt heart and the vellum doily is made with the Dainty Doilies 2 set. There are also two layers made with the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares dies. I used one of the Fancy Framed Tags Two die to hang the lantern with twine. I added some ribbons and lace and the layer under them is made with the Way Out West stamp set. I clear embossed it. I also made three flowers and two leaves. The leaves are made with the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die. Just stitched the edges and added a few rhinestones to finish it off!

Here's the beautiful inspiration photo that Fran chose for this challenge:

This card is also just perfect for the Waltzingmouse Challenge #120 so this is my second card for this challenge.

I added some Spellbinders die cuts (Fancy Tags Two, Marvelous Squares) and the French Pastry doily of Cheery Lynn Designs. The cute little tag is made with the Waltzingmouse Opera Tags stamp set. I put two cute little bells at the end of the twine bow. I embossed the kraft background with the Sizzix Holly Swirls embossing folder. For You.

I've been at home for almost two weeks with a very bad sore throat, but now I feel better and I'm so happy to be able to post a new card! I received a few Copic markers a while ago and this is my first card I made with them! I wanted to make a card for the Think Pink Challenge. I chose the beautiful flowers from the the Flourishes Garden Picks stamp set. I put some glossy accents on the jar. I added different Spellbinders die cuts (Fancy Framed Tags Two, Classic Scalloped Hearts, Classic Hearts and Marvelous Squares). There's also the beautiful French Pastry doily of Cheery Lynn Designs. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy. I stitched the edges and just added a few rhinestones, ribbons and a cute little tag to finish it off. The sentiment is from the Flourishes Mix and Mugs stamp set. I will also enter this card to the CR84FN Color Challenge.

Baby Boy.

Just in time for the Flourishes World Card Making Day Challenge! It's a 5 senses Challenge! Blue for the sight, flowers and baby for the smell, wood, felt, vellum and twine for the sense of touch, die cuts for the senses of hearing. I chose the cute onsie from the Hello Baby! stamp set. I attached it with little wooden clothespins on a twine washing line. I made felt and vellum wings with the Sizzix Heart Wings die and added different die cuts ( Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two, Decorative Labels Eight and Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry) as a background. The stamped flowers are from the Love and Lace stamp set. I also added three flowers. To finish it off I added cute little pearls. I might also add the first letter of the baby's first name on the onsie when I'll know who will receive this card.

Hello Baby!

There's a sketch challenge at Flourishes! I wanted to make a card for a baby boy so I chose the beautiful Hello Baby stamp set of Flourishes. I used my new Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight dies to make the frame. I also used one of the Spellbinders Labels Eight die, one Fancy Tags Two die and the doily is made with the Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry die. I put all the different layers on foam pads. I also made a little tag with a GO Kreate die. To finish it off, I just added a May Arts ribbon and a bow, a button and a few pearls.
