This snowflakey facets card started off as a CPS sketch. I interpreted the sketch very loosely again this week. I'm always worried if I don't stick to the sketch I may be disqualified but at the end of the day a sketch is there to inspire people to make art and everyone approaches it differently so as long as I'm having fun making something it doesn't matter what other people think.
I really wanted to try the alcohol ink and archival ink technique as Tim did on a recent tag, it just looked so pretty. And it works really well. So I am entering this into the Stamp and Show Challenge where we are showcasing a Tim technique.
And I am also entering this into the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge where the theme is Winter Wishes. Looks like we are getting my winter wish - SNOW!!!! Supposedly plenty more to come for christmas!!! YAY!!!

CPS Challenge entry....
Life has been a bit busy recently with a little trip home and lots of christmas organizing going on, but I finally got back into the crafting, catching up on Tim's Tags and some challenges.
I used the CPS sketch to make this card. For the first time I didnt stick to thesketch too much but used it more as an inspiration. I always seem to try and make something using the exact sketch.... so with this one I tried to challenge myself a bit.

CPS Challenge entry.... and yet another christmas card
So here we go again, another christmas card and I used another CPS sketch. The sketches are really handy, it give you a starting point for a card and then from there I pick the shapes/diecuts/stamps I may wanna use and it all falls into place. Help me getting all my christmas cards done that's for sure.

Flowery challenge entry....
Of course I have to enter the May challenge over on Sir Stampalot Challenge, theres and amazing price up for grabs. So as the theme is Blossoms and butterflies and a friend of mine needed a birthday card for his niece I got making and this is the result. The felt flowers i love, they are really thick and fluffy.
I am also thinking about entering this into the craft stamper birthday challenge, but may come up with something better by the deadline, we shall see. And I am entering this into Challenge 6 at Wee Memories. And not to forget the sketch idea came from CPS - Card Sketches, so it's being entered there too.

CPS Challenge entry....
Another week over and another challenge entry. I do apologize for the lack of more creative items and my blogging about them, I really want to alter some frames and make some notebooks with my new ringbinder. But there hasnt been anough time to really do anything other than a bunch of cards. So anyway, here goes my entry for CPS this week.
I hope to be blogging about my new alterations die later this week or next week, i made a few things using the fanciful flight die.

My CPS - Card Sketches entry....
Here is yet another Challenge entry, this time it's for CPS - Card Sketches. Been making a lot of elephant cards this week, not sure why. They make nice "man cards" though I find. The challenge is sponsored by My favourite things.
