Cards with photos for Just Stamps Magazine

Today I would like to share with you some more of my recent publications, these can be seen in the current issue of Just Stamps Magazine. This is available to order from Creavil. Don't be put off by it being entirely in German, there is plenty of pictures and step by step pictures.
I have in the past bought Dutch magazines cause there was so many pretty things in there but can't understand a word the articles or descriptions say.

These two cards are for the theme "Cards with Photos" and as I love working with pictures, especially old family photos I could not resist.

Same photo, different card. I use that picture of me and my sister a lot. It cuts out very well and it just reminds me of when we used to go to my grandmas house as this picture was taken just outside her house.

Finding the time to enter challenges.....

It's difficult finding time to make things for challenges these days, I seem to never stop being busy. One project I'm currently working on should be completed in 3 weeks so I hope there will be plenty of time for more challenge makes.

Today I sat down and created this card. The challenge at Creavil is scrunched up backgrounds, it's something I've never really tried before but I'm glad I did as I like the vintage look it creates. It's simply crumpled up paper which is then inked with distress inks and it picks up all the creased bits nicely. I then stamped some script over it but didnt press the stamp to hard, that way the paper only picks up the script on the high points.

This card will also be entered into The Stampman Challenge where the theme is Men. Same theme over at the Simon says Challenge. And last but not least The Stampsmith is asking for birthday creations this week.

A handful of Moleskine Notebooks.....

As I am currently making lots of stock for the craft fair I have signed up to take part in, I went a little mad at decorating a bunch of Moleskine notebooks. I love these little Kraft coloured ones and if you use beautiful stamps like these from Paperbag Studios, Stamp Francisco and Tim Holtz, they can nothing but turn out great!

My two favourites are these though. The one on the left is a stamp by Paperbag Studios and the one on the right is a mix of stamps but the hand is from Stamp Francisco. I have recently bought a bunch of really cool stamps from them and I can't wait to play with them more. They are amazing!

The one on the right is being entered into the Creavil Challenge where the theme is "Clocks".
