Would YOU like to get published?

Some of my regular readers might already know I have been contributing to a stamp magazine for about half a year now. For those of you who don't know, I make things and write how-to's for the magazine JUST STAMPS - EINFACH STEMPELN. It is entirely in German, but don't let this put you off.

We are always running challenges for our readers to take part and we welcome contributions from all over the world. The upcoming challenges are:

SHOES (Deadline 31st July)
CHECKS (Deadline 31st August)
TISSUE TAPE (Deadline 31st August)
CHOCOLATES (Deadline 30th September)
ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Deadline 30th October)

If you are interested in any of the themes and would like to contribute or want more information then feel free to email me at anikraft@hotmail.co.uk.

Any submissions need to have stamping on it and have to be received by me by the deadline, it's a UK address you would be sending these to. Descriptions and list of materials will need to be in English, these will then be translated by me should your submission get picked.

Don't hesitate to contact me on the subject or if you'd like to contribute anything from cards, ATCs, tags etc then email me for my address on where to send them.

Back with some CANDY!!!!

I really have neglected my blog quite majorly, for many reasons. I was real busy preparing for a craft fair, which unfortunately has now been cancelled. So I found myself searching the internet for other fairs and emailing lots of people and all that.
Also I have been concentrating on makes for magazines as I would love to get more of my stuff out there and I am already involved with a German stamping magazine - Just Stamps - for which I just got the new themes and therefore I had to get my thinking cap on.

But hopefully I am back now with some more things to show, but best of all, I have some candy to share........

I am long overdue a blogaversary candy, let's just say I really confused myself as to when my blogaversary was so enough about that and let's just share some goodies:

- Paperbag Studios "Thistle" Stamp
- Basic Grey Fibers
- Distress Stain Vintage Photo
- Karen Foster Scrappers Spool Auburn
- Tim Holtz Tissue Tape
- Paint Dabber Cloudy Blue

This is just to share a small selection of my favourite products. I am especially loving the Paperbag Studios stamps at the moment, you'll enjoy this one, it's fab!

To take part you can come from anywhere in the world, just make sure you are a follower, leave me a comment so your name can go in the hat and link me from your blog/website/facebook page, basically spread the word.

This candy will run until the 23rd June.

Angelboy Tag....

I like tags, they are great to try new techniques and they are fairly quick to do, but then what do you do with them? At least with cards you know you can send them to someone but with tags, I never know what to do with them. Nevertheless I like them, suppose they just have to go into the box with my ATC's.

So I wanted to use my new arched glass stamp (purchased by my boyfriend, he did listen last time I dragged him to the stamp shop! Result!). The tag looks a tad christmassy but that wasn't my intention. Love the colours though.

I actually made it for the ONE FOR THE BOYS Challenge over at Try it on Tuesday.

I'm also entering this into the Simon says Stamp and Show Challenge and the Sir Stampalot Challenge.

Art Journey Challenge #9 - Birthday

I have recently purchased some more stamps from Art Journey, well I have bought a ton of new stamps recently, some of them from Art Journey, hehe.

This is just to share a card with you I made for their challenge, checkcheck out their blog here.
The theme this month is birthdays.

It is also goin into the Simon says Stamp and Show - Anything Goes Challenge.

Another card goin into the box for my upcoming craft fair.

Busy bees(wax)......

First of all I d apologize for the severe lack of posts and crafted things, I have been a very busy bee. My parents visited a week ago and then I wasn't well for 2 days and also I am concentrating on some magazine work at the moment so I didn't get a chance to show anything on here.

But I had a very busy craft monday yesterday.

For now I'd like to share this mirror with you. I am still making more things to sell at my craft fair in June so I created this beeswax mirror. I painted it and stuck some book pages on it, swiped it with some ink and then got waxing. I stamp my images on a layer of tissue as it's so much thinner than tissue paper.

My new favourite stamp and a couple of challenges.....

I have spent a fortune on new stamps recently, well I kinda always do. But there is sooooo many I just love at the moment, but the face stamp from Stamp Francisco is my new favourite stamp I think. I stamped it a few times, cut it out and pushed it around the page and there is just so many ideas popping up in my head.... that's always a good sign.

The branch in the background is by Memory Box and also quickly becoming a favourite. I use it for all my backgrounds at the moment.

I made this one for the Artistic Stamper Challenge "Ladies and Girls" as well as the Stampsmith Challenge "Celebrating Mothers".
