Fruit Punch by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Fruit Punch by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
I found this little dish somewhere in Birmingham, Al. Do you other artist find yourselves at the dish isle just looking at different shapes and heights. I could envision how this would look. 5x7 oil on canvas panel.

Off The Tree by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan

Off The Tree by Alabama Artist Angela Sullivan
A favorite and a few pieces of peppermint. I found this pitcher at TJ Maxx and fell in love with it it is shiny but has ridges. I am sure you will see more with this pitcher. Also I bought the little white dish next to the Santa with the piece of peppermint in it. The red candle is one my sister gave me for my birthday many years ago. I am trying my best to keep the background smooth to emphasize the objects of importance. 8X10 oil on canvas panel.

My Kitchen Towel by Angela Sullivan

My Kitchen Towel by Angela Sullivan
One day there were three oranges in a bowl on the counter. Actually we had been there a while just kinda
drying out. We were neglected and alone. She walked by and flipped on a light and wouldn't you know that at that very moment a glimmer of light hit us just like a spotlight. With a slight crooked smile her gaze caught ours and it was love at second site. She gently picked us up careful not to drop us. She carried us away and placed us on this beautiful kitchen towel. This is where we belonged all along.

Three Things of Value

Three Things of Value
The green cup I purchased at the center of hope thrift store. I love the
green color and shape of it. The little bird is resin with texture, I fell in love with it
at first glance. The cup with the pink flower is part of my set of everyday dishes.
My husband gave them to me for Christmas 2 years ago so of course the set is no longer
complete. To any one else these things would be worthless but to me they are
three things of value.

Little Blue Cup

Little Blue Cup
Thrift store finds are best of all. Sometimes they are cracked, but cracks add
character if it is something you want to keep. Sometimes you can imagine
how much these things were valued by their owners and why they were
discarded. But if they were not sent to the thrift store that would not have ended
up in this painting, this painting of the little blue cup.
