Daddy's Gorgeous Girl Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!

 Hello lovely friends,

Welcome to my blog, today I am showing you a layout with a bunch of gorgeous 2Crafty chipboard pieces. I am a massive fan of making beach & wintery layouts this time I chose a beach one, with a picture of Abbey and her bucket full of shells. The papers I used are by Maja Design and are two different collections. The picture was taken last year, Abbey loves the beach and she always says "it's sunny on the beach mommy" you have to put sunscreen on me.

Daddy's Gorgeous Girl:

 2Crafty Chipboards used:
Daddy's Girl
Breanna's Swirl
Frame Lucy's Flourish
Frame Celia's Flourish
Fine Word Set 2
Fishing Net Bits

Firstly I coated all the chipboard pieces with a thin layer of white gesso, then I used a couple of different acrylic & liquid paints to cover my chipboard pieces. On some of them I dabbed a darker brown paint randomly and others I used waxes on.

On the background I did some mixed media such as stamps, inks and sprays and I finished of my layout by adding some art stones, sea shells, flair {long time ago since I used them} and some word strips. I also used some metal pieces.

I would like to thank you all for being here with me today and for your amazing support. I really love this creative journey I am sharing with you all ....

The Unforgetable Moments of Childhood Magic Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at More Than Words & 13 Arts!!

 Goodmorning my amazing followers,

Today I'd like to share another layout I made for my Maja Design DT work I am so happy that you find the time to visit my blog today, here in The Netherlands they just decided to have a hard lockdown due covid-19, I personally think that it's way to late but who am I right? Luckily in my line of work {optician} we can still be open and help the people who need to see but for my husband it's a whole other story but he can still go to work but we don't know for how long. Well enough of the covid-19.....today I'd like to show you another layout that I made with two gorgeous collections "Celebration"& "Nyhavn"

The Unforgetable Moments of Childhood Magic:
This was a fun and easy page to make also because I don't have many pictures with snow in it....only when Kevin was a cute little boy. For the bottom part of my layout I used the Nyhavn sheet called sitting at the dock which is one of my all time favorites and for the upper part I used the ephemera sheet of Celebration. At that first sheet I used a awesome winter background stamp by studio light with some stazon jet black ink I stamped randomly, then for the upper part I used a stencil by the dusty attic of stars.

The frame around the picture is also by the dusty attic as is the word childhood. With this layout I will be entering two challenges one is a moodboard of winter at the 13 Arts blog and the other one is of childhood & to add some gold at More Than Words. The leaves you see on my layout are dies by cheery lynn designs which I cut out from the Maja Designs monochromes and then treated with lindy's stamp gang sprays.

I added different golden elements on my layout as glitter glass, gold sprays & finnabair wax on the art pebbles as the finishing touch I added some true snow by arleene's and some butterflies of the coffee in the arbour collection. I also added some flatbackpearls on the frame.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration Ephemera bs, Nyhavn sitting at the dock bs, Mono White Sand bs of the sofiero & Coffee in the Arbour butterflies are free.

As I told you earlier in my post I will be entering two challenges one at More Than Words with the word "Childhood" and to add some gold....how did this moodboard inspire me, well that's easy when I was a child there was snow almost every winter! My brothers and I where always playing ouside throwing snow at each other and playing & skating on the ice....and when Kevin was little we also played in the snow with him and that where fun times reminding me of my own childhood! That's why I used this picture.
and the second one is at the 13 Arts blog challenge #97 and for you work you needed to use at least one 13 Arts product and I used the words "Unforgetable", "Moments" & Magic from the Chipboard Winter Tales words which I had in my stash for a while now and I finally got to use it yeah....and isn't this moodboard amazing???
Thank you so much for being here with me today I hope you like my work have a wonderful day .......stay safe & healthy......

Capture this moment Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing with the September mood board at Dusty Attic!

Goodmorning lovely followers,

If you visit my blog regularly you know I love making layouts! I have wanted to scrap this picture for a while now but that mini princess is making it a little difficult to scrap sometimes and I have to find time {while she is sleeping} to create because I really need it. We went to a photographer to make this picture because I wanted one with the four of us in it to put on a canvas to hang on my wall and so we did and I am very happy with it....look at that masculine son of us isn't he handsome? I really love my little family <3

Capture this moment:

For this layout I used the pretty 'Celebration' collection and two sheets of the monochromes one of the Shades of Sofiero called white/sand and one of the Shades of Celebration called charcoal. On the background behind the pictures I used the monochromes I also used these for the flowers I made using the amazing dies by Cheery Lynn Designs which are still my favs. After having some computer problems {it crashed} oh boy how I dislike it when that happens I am back again....but due to these problems I missed two posts sorry for that....

The monochromes are amazing to make flowers with as I did in this layout...if I have time I will do a little tutorial on how to make the flowers in my layout they are super easy and quick to make. The chipboards are by The Dusty Attic and I treated them with just plain paint and some of them like the barb wire I treated with embossing powder. As you can also see in my layout I used some cheese cloth behind my picture and flowers.

To finish of my layout I added some stamps, art stones, wishing bubbles, and metal pieces and of course my favorite spray "Sidewalk Chalk" on my tittle I used some of the amazing rust paste by Finnabair. With this layout I entered in a moodboard challenge because the colors spoke to me and I knew exactly which papers I could use.

Maja Design papers used: Anniversary bs, You’re Invited, Ephemera bs, Mono Celebration-Charcoal bs, Mono White Sand

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today if you like my work then show me some love...have a wonderful day and stay healthy & safe

Sweet Memories Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Playing at Cuts2luv!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Are you enjoying the spring weather...here in The Netherlands we had some pretty sunny days but that is over now, sadly but hopefully soon we can enjoy the sun again. For today I have a layout to share. Two weeks ago my computer died on me and I could not post my project {sorry for that} but now my husband fixed that and I can edit my work again yeah. This layout is made with two collections "Celebration" & "Denim and Friends" and Camilla her lovely daughter Freja <3 is on the picture.

Sweet Memories:
On the beackground of my layout I added the pretty waterdrops stamp by Gabrielle Pollacco {still one of my favorite stamps sets ever} but before I added that stamp I used two other stamps to one crackle and one script stamp. After prepairing my background I treated my chipboard pieces with several acrylic paints layered on top of each other to get a worndown look.

After I treated the chipboards I added my flower clusters. Then I took my photograph and layered it on two sheets of the 6x6 paper pads then I placed it on top of the chipboard frame to get more dimension.  At the end I took out a letter sticker sheet from webster pages and made the word bliss and in that corner I placed a metal piece.

At the end I used some of my white spray and gesso to lighten up my flowers and papers...but I also added some art stones and some sea shells. I think that is it on how I created this layout. I had a lot of fun also because we have a son and I really enjoy making layouts with girls being the focal point.

Maja Design papers used:
Celebration: Glamour bs & Champagne bs, Denim & Friends: Streetwear bs.

With this layout I will be entering this months challenge at the Cuts2luv blog they have a wonderful challenge this month let's have a look at the mood board:
Gorgeous right? Are you playing along too? I used the word "bliss", a bunch of flowers and the teal colors on the mooad board.

Other products used: The Dusty Attic chipboard, Cuts2luv flairs, 49 and Market flowers and stamps, Sprays, Cheese cloth, Art stones, Acrylic paints, Gesso, 3d gel, Sea shells, Burlap wire added in my flower clusters.

Thank you so much for your visit and I wish you a sunny and wonderful day
