Mrs Brimbles October photo challenge - final round up

I can't believe October is already over!  I had such a blast taking part in Mrs Brimbles photo challenge and the good news is she will be running another one in December.

Day twenty-two - Colours of autumn

As you may know I'm totally nuts about autumn so I have these colourful leaves as the wallpaper on my phone.

Day twenty-three & twenty-four - Journalling & Autumn decoration

I was playing catch up with this photo so I did two prompts in one shot.  I love using my journalling stamps to record how I am feeling and I think this gold washi tape is perfect for decorating autumn pages.

Day twenty-five - Out and about

I was "out and about" on Saturday and spotted these flowers that were the same colour as my aqua Finsbury.

Day twenty-six - Pens of plenty

This is a very small selection of my pen collection!

Day twenty-seven - Changing

The clocks went back an hour the day before I took this shot so I was changing the time on my Alice in Wonderland pocket watch necklace.

Day twenty-seven - changing

Day twenty-eight - Pimp it up

My favourite thing about using a Filofax as my planner is that I can pimp it up and make it my own!

Day twenty-nine - To be read

I have had this book sat on my shelf for a while now and I really do need to sit down and start reading it soon.

Day twenty-nine - to be read

Day thirty - Treat

I have a thing for kawaii jewellery and charms, especially when they are shaped like sweet foodie treats!

Day thirty - treat

Day thirty-one - Halloween

Happy Halloween, I hope you had a good one!  This year I was demoted to cutting the tops off the pumpkins and scooping out the insides, my eldest two children had all the fun carving the faces into them.  Next year I will have to buy one to do myself!

Mrs Brimbles October photo challenge - week three

Hello!  This is my round up for the third week of the Mrs Brimbles October photo challenge, here are my pics...

Day fifteen - Selfie

Sorry no planner in this one, just little old me!  I tried to fit it in but didn't have enough hands to hold it and take a photo at the same time.

Day fifteen - selfie

Day sixteen - Favourite

This quote card is definitely one of my favourites and I've always been a little obsessed with glitter.

Day sixteen - favourite

Day seventeen - Orange

The lovely Mrs Brimbles AKA Anna sent me a note in this sweet envelope a while back and if the prompt is "orange" then I have to include something with a fox on it!

Day seventeen - orange

Day eighteen - Words

These are good words to live by and I love seeing them in my planner each day.  The dashboard and my dividers both came from Just Keep Pinning on Etsy and they go perfectly together!

Day eighteen - word

Day nineteen - So me

I have a weakness for expensive toiletries but I don't often get to buy any.  My amazing in-laws gave me this body cream last weekend and it is very me.  It smells nice and has a glittery shimmer, I'm planning to sparkle right through to 2015!

Day nineteen - so me

Day twenty - Snuggly

Talking of my in-laws my mother in-law made this Winnie the Pooh blanket for my children when they were smaller.  We all like to snuggle underneath it when the weather is chilly.

Day twenty - snuggly

Day twenty-one - Marker

I love this page marker from Cute Organizing, I brought a set of them over a year and a half ago and they all still look brand new!

Mrs Brimbles October photo challenge - week two

Week two of the challenge is already over, October is flying by!  I started to write this post yesterday but didn't get very far, it was raining most of the day so I decided to wrap myself up in a blanket and watch The Walking Dead instead.  I love cold, crisp autumn days but I'm not so keen on damp, soggy grey ones especially when I have to leave the house!  Today is clear and bright and I find myself feeling much more motivated.

Day eight - Couldn't Live Without...

I honestly couldn't live without some kind of diary or planner and pens!  I just can't keep track of everything I need to remember in my head any more.

Day eight - couldn't live without...

Day nine - Purple

Here are a selection of some of my purple planner goodies, the tortoise dashboard from Mrs Brimbles is so sweet.

Day nine - purple

Day ten - Writing

I mix it up between using planner stamps and writing in my diary.  Oh and always lots of colours too!

Day ten - writing

Day eleven - Preparation

It really is time to start thinking about Christmas, if I can spread things out over the next three months December wont be as hectic!

Day eleven - preparation

Day twelve - Warm Drink

A very yummy cup of caramel hot chocolate, it was delicious!

Day twelve - warm drink

Day thirteen - What Autumn Means To Me

Creamy coffee drinks, woolly gloves, autumn skies, Lush's Christmas line of bath treats and quite a few birthdays are all things that I look forward at this time of year.

Day thirteen - what autumn means to me

Day fourteen - Crafted

I used to be really good at cross stitch but I haven't done any in a while, this floral bookmark is one of my favourite craft projects I have made.

Are you joining in with the challenge?  Let me know where I can see your photos, I would love to take a look.
