june...
lab mates with prof hor!
with mr tong..
with mr desai!
okay its finally june! (and i can really do a monthly blog update already haha). mainly visited tong and desai during our last visit to tj. its been a year since we last went back. everything looks the same, except there have been more artworks of students being put up. could really see that the students are getting more artistic as the years passed and more emphasis have been shifted towards the cultural and performing arts. heard from tong that since our sports are not picking up the school have shifted their focus already. it was nice listening and talking to desai and tong, though desai was our main aim of visiting tj again haha. its just nice that we had an hour+ break before meeting mr desai so we visited tong. and while waiting for him we hid inside a classroo for aircon, to realise all the tables and chairs have been changed to GREEN color. omg they are so patriotic to the school. and it was nice meeting up with other 07 peeps too =) not much pictures taken this time round though, but our main aim is accomplished. =) both of them certainly looked more old from what i last remembered of them, and despite that our conversation topics mainly revolves about the current students and the old histories, it was certainly heartwarming to know that the tutors still remembers us and what we did =)
and exam results were out today! and yay i finally achieved my target of my 2nd Upp Honors! woohoo! =) thanks to my fyp which gotten an A which is worth 16MCs! =) that was certainly surprisingly to me given that i had the toughest combination of examiners and poster examination was reimplemented this year. i am super thankful to everyone, especially to my mentor, my supervisor and those who have even me a lot of support during this whole year =) gotten an A for my OM (which is super thankful to vinh's group for sharing the past year test papers) and B+ for supra which i thought was good enough. overall its a leap of 0.16, which is the best result i have ever achieved in NUS. a good ending, and now my future plan settles in place and there's no need for me to appeal for my grad studies =) yayness =) and yet again i surprised my family with my 'stunning' performance, and a gd meal looks probable =)
and my bro is finally coming back on friday early morning! that means no more room to myself and 1 more person to nag at me when i come back home late from work =( nevertheless its good to have my nice bro back =) and together with my dad's birthday on saturday, a good feast is coming up! yayness!
and lnp is on sunday! hopefully my knees wouldnt crumble at the end of my 6km, and my arms wouldnt fall off from the kayaking. and this makes me double think about taking part in 10km standard chartered run in december. thankfully my knees are getting better with the switch in my exercise plans to swimming and biking and as well as taking up pilates =) so a 10km run looks possible except it requires much more training up to do.
and my trip to taiwan in july looks quite set to go! settled the itinery yesterday and all we are now left with is booking the tickets and the hostels. can't wait to go on a long break from work.
hoping that my crystals that i send in are correct so that i wouldnt waste my 3 months. everyone enjoy your holidays! GRADUATE LO! =)
