    happy 2007... =)

steamboat cum durian in geylang with sharkies =)

oh yeah. its 2007! woo hoo~ cant imagine posting this up so late but still wanna wish everyone a happy 2007!

2006 had been a rather fulfilling year for me especially when 8 months of it were free before school started. the first time i stepped into the society and started working as a part-time admin person handling tax forms or IRAS at science park where i get to see unfortunately office politics and the stressful sector but still pretty nice experience working with real adults and their take on their current life. how they manage and sustain working for long period of time, their way of handling their emotions as well as their work. a very useful 3/4 weeks spent there despite almost working 12 hours a day and burning 1 weekend off.

and my 2nd job was actually relief teaching back at my old secondary school where everything looks very similar yet has the sense of unfamilarisation. change of teachers yet the similar school culture makes me feel at home despite having a change in place to the queenstown side instead of opposite our dear pandan reservoir. this great time was spent trying to interact with my juniors in secondary 3 and 4 and learning how to communicate and carry myself better. the best part was finding people with the same interest of enjoying sports: my napfa reliefs where we just conduct napfa tests for the kids. playing basketball before and after the test really pull us together well and even now, we have our own meeting ups to just to know how everyone is doing and they are a great bunch of people. =) thanks for entering my life, providing me support as well as feeling very comfortable and at ease with everyone's presence.

last job was most boring as well as tiring with the helping of the shifting of the school to the SA site. dirty, packing of library and science labs, now we know how hard our lab technicians work. marking scripts has never been an easy task too. but oh well its the last amount of time spent with my old school before heading to a next major part of my life: university.

oh yeah. braved my way through entering university without any of my 07 people when most of them are in NTU. glad to have sandy to lead me through and being in the most enthusiastic OG for SOW: SHARKTALE! they have now become part and parcel of our life, attending lectures and crapping around, having fun and so on. my chem sharkies! =) love ya guys so much! not forgetting other sharks of course. =) the bbq and the steamboat was great! lets look forward to our graduation trip to taiwan! =)

not forgetting my canoeing subclub which i just joined not long ago! must thank da for pulling me in to meet yet another great bunch of people inside and its the first time i know that guys can be so gossipy. after suffering through 4 days 3 nights at pasir ris park during the monsoon season for northern island expedition. glad it turned out fine and stop capsizing me mr fatso! great people to meet also. happy under the sun! =)

well meeting new people on the way is great but not forgetting my old friends too! old pals 07 guys and my guitar peeps! =) lets try and ensure that we will still meet up and keep in touch k? =) vick and yb too! =)

new year resolutions for me doesn't seem to work much ahha. but still just take things in our stride and hoping that my results can get better ( not quite good this sem ) and meeting new people on the way, maximising life in university =) pass my driving too! (feb) and hope everyone has a great year ahead! =) take care! =)
