we get to watched the karate kid for free during abah's company family day at berjaya times square. this is adam's favourite where you can see lots of kicking and punching :) don't we just love free stuff... :)

oreo butter cake
Ingredients
200g butter
200g sugar
4 large eggs
200g self raising flour
8 pieces Oreo biscuits - crushed (cream removed)
3 pieces Oreo biscuits - (cream removed)
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
Preheat oven at 175 degrees Celsius. Greased the baking pan and put aside.
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla essence till creamy.
Add in eggs one at a time and keep on beating till fluffy.
Add in the flour and fold till well.
Add in the crushed oreo biscuits and fold till well.
Pour the mixture into tray and even the top.
Arrange with the 3 pcs of Oreos on top of the cake. Do not press down the biscuit.
Bake for 40 minutes or till cooked.

balloon festival
interesting under water balloon sculptures @ aeon setiawangsa.
even with the singboard "Do not touch" you can still see some parents let their children play with the balloons. pleaseee ... they are for your eyes only to enjoy. well being malaysian with the 'malaysia boleh' attitude, everything is okay.

sabshuka
recipe from curlybabe'ssatisfaction
Ingredients:-
500g minced beef
3 tbsp chili paste
3 tbsp minced garlics
2 tbsp minced ginger
4 tbsp curry powder
1 big onion diced
1 tomato diced
1 cup mix vegetables
1 can small size tomato puree
4 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1-2 cups of water
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
5 eggs
for garnishing
2 big onions diced
2 tomatoes diced
some coriander leaves or chinese celery
1-2 red chilies sliced
1-2 green chilies sliced
2 tbsp fried shallots (optional)
Method
1. Mix mince meat, garlic, ginger paste and curry powder and leave it to marinade for 20mins
2. Heat oil in the wok
3. Add chilli paste and fry it till oil separates
4. Add chopped onions and fry till it turns translucent
5. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup, mince meat mixture and salt
6. Mix them well and let it simmer till the meat is cooked
7. Add chopped tomatoes, mixed vegetables, fresh chillies, scallions and parsley
8. Let it simmer and add a bit of water if the mixture gets too dry
9. Prepare a casserole dish, transfer cooked meat into the dish and pour eggs onto the meat mixture
10. Bake in the preheated oven at 180C for about 10minutes or until the eggs are cooked.
11. Serve hot and eat it with bread or rice

kek oren lembab
resepi dari rinnchan
Bahan-bahan :
240gm mentega
1 cawan gula kaster
1 1/2 cawan tepung naik sendiri
1/2 cawan susu segar
5 biji telur
3 sudu besar Orange Sunquick
parutan kulit sebiji buah orange
Cara-cara :
1. Putar mentega dan gula kaster hingga kembang.
2. Masukkan telur satu persatu sambil terus memutar pada kelajuan maksima.
3. Perlahankan putaran mixer. Masukkan tepung di selang-selikan dengan susu hingga habis.
4. Masukkan pati orange Sunquick dan parutan kulit orange.
5. Bakar pada suhu 175C selama 45 minit atau sehingga masak.

laksa johor
Bahan-bahan
1 paket spagetthi - di rebus bersama sedikit garam & minyak dan tos
1kg ikan kambong - di rebus ambil isi dan di kisar halus
simpan air rebusan ikan
bahan bertanda * di kisar halus
100gm udang kering * - rendam sebentar
15 tangkai cili kering * - rendam air panas
5 batang serai *
1 inchi panjang halia *
1 inchi panjang lengkuas *
8 ulas bawang merah *
5 ulas bawang putih *
1 inchi belacan *
1 sudu besar pes asam jawa
1 paket rempah kari ikan
1 paket kerisik
1 tin besar santan
Cara-cara
1. Panaskan minyak di dalam periuk dan tumis bahan yang telah di kisar sehingga naik bau dan masukkan rempah kari ikan.
2. Setelah naik minyak masukkan isi ikan dan kemudian di ikuti dengan kerisik.
3. Apabila kuah telah mendidih masukkan santan dan kacau rata. Masukkan air rebusan ikan.
4. Biarkan kuah mendidih selama lebih kurang 2 jam kemudian masukkan pes asam jawa, garam dan gula.
5. Sedia unutk di hidangkan bersama sambal belacan dan ulam-ulaman seperti kacang panjang, bawang, timun, daun kesum, bunga kantan dan lobak masin

puding kastard jagung
Bahan-bahannya:
1 tin jagung berkrim
1 tin susu cair
3 cawan air
1 1/2 cawan gula pasir
1 1/2 cawan tepung kastard
Cara-cara:
1. Bancuh tepung kastard dengan air hingga sebati kemudian masukkan semua bahan-bahan lain dan bancuh rata.
2. Masak puding dengan menggunakan api yang kecil sehingga masak (kental dan berkilat).
3. Masukkan ke dalam loyang.
4. Setelah sejuk masukkan ke dalam peti sejuk.
