4th of July Postage Collage

Today I'm playing along at Festive Friday challenge where they're looking for 4th of July projects. You must include three things from the following list...

I've got the Red, White, Blue, Fireworks, Balloons and Celebratory Sentiment Covered on this card featuring the Waffle Flower Postage Collage 4th of July stencil set.

If you're not familiar with the Postage Collage Series you should check it out. You select which Postal Collage die you'd like to use, and then ink the images on the die cut stamps. They have a Postal Collage for several different occasions including Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving and more. You can also use the die cut stamps with your other favorite stamp sets and stencils.

I kept the stamps together, but they look great cut apart as well. I added an "air mail" red and white border using the Postage Collage Coloring set that is great for adding color to the backgrounds.

Pink & Main May Release Instagram Hop & Giveaway!

My card features the new American Eagle stamp set. Of course there is a coordinating die set that makes cutting the images a snap!

I arranged the cute little eagles on a panel stacked with the Zig Zag Rectangle, Stitched Rectangle, and Shaker Tags. The sentiment is stamped on a 1/2" Sentiment Strip.

The eagles are colored with Copic Markers and little stars from the tag set are scattered about. There are two shades of the new twine on this card.. red "Stop Sign" and blue "Sunny Sky" this is a thicker twine. I knotted the ends and then unraveled the strands to create a tassel.

Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

It's a great day for a visit! Today is the third and final day of the Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop!  If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Rachel Kleinman's blog.  If you'd like to start at the beginning and get all the details, you'll find them here at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

This month's release has lots of events covered including new baby, summer holidays, graduation, and weddings too.

My card today features the new Big Celebration Cupcake that you can decorate with patriotic images, fruits, picnic, and fireworks!

I loved all the images so I had to incorporate as many as possible into my design!

I love all the different fruits.. .blueberries, lemon (or is it a lime?), and a strawberry too! And those little ants!? Well I think they never miss a meal do they?

I lit up the "sky" with fireworks and added a little "USA" flag too. This set includes the flag, and the usa letters on a separate die. I double cut the flag to cut out the letters and then put a solid white flag behind the red one.
