Hugs My Wonderful Friend

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I've been out of commission for a while with a bad cold. I'm finally out of bed and excited to be making! Today I'm playing along at We Love To Create where they're looking for anything Mixed Media/Papercrafting.

I love the Foilable designs from Pink & Main. It's so fun to pair the preprinted toner designs, pair them with your favorite foil and run them through the Minc hot foil machine. The imprint is perfect every time and you can also use the negative that's left behind and make another panel so there is no waste.

I paired the House Plant Foilable with Tinsel Green Foil and then colored the design with alcohol markers. The marker leaves a streaked design because the paper has a shiny finish but I think that helps create the illusion of a watercolor design.

I topped the pretty finished panel with a Big Hugs sentiment. The background is cut from vellum and the smaller detail design is in white cardstock. I finished the sentiment with a simple strip stamped with a sub sentiment from the Hello Sentiments stamp set.

I hope you find some time to make. It's a great way to destress and recharge. I know it always makes me feel better!

Pink & Main February Release and Giveaway!

You're going to flip when you see the new Greenhouse dies! This is the smaller of the two Greenhouse dies that fits perfectly inside an A2 size envelope. The biggest one is the Flower Greenhouse Pop Up. And let me tell you this is the biggest die set I've ever seen!

The greenhouse front and back attach together and then you add the center piece. You can embellish the pieces as you like. I doubled the back of the greenhouse so that it opens and that is where my sentiment is.

I love all the layers of green and how this set comes alive with the different additions.

Pink & Main Instagram Hop & Giveaway!

The Pink & Main January release is here! There are adorable new goodies for your spring and Easter cards, with new stamps, dies, embellishments, and fun things to foil - some with coordinating stencils, too!

And since it’s January, we are introducing our new monthly series for 2025! This is the new January Mouse. This is a small stamp set that includes the mouse, chick, two eggs, butterfly and a few sentiments.

The light pink background has been dry embossed with a basket pattern. I topped that with the new Stitched Oblong Oval. This is a nested set and you can cut as many or as few as you like. I wanted to repeat the stripe pattern on the eggs so I did three layers in colored cardstock.

I added a twine bow along the top to look like it might be holding up the sentiment strip, and little butterflies flit about. Do you love those pink gems? They're new too!

Merry & Bright

I hope you're feeling merry and bright and that the spirit of the season has filled your heart with peace and happiness! Today I'm sharing a card filled with holiday wishes from the whole gang!

I inked the group image from the Pink & Main Holiday Cuties set with alcohol inks. It was fun to add the colors and give each little character it's own personality. I tried to add as many colors as I could in the different accessories.. scarves, hats, and even a few gifts!

A Reverse Scallop Circle creates a focal point for the Holiday Cuties and doubles as a holder for a sprinkle of sequins. My shaker is completely flat making it easy to mail, but still filled with sparkly sequins.

I used papers from two different packs - the blue heart print is from the Happy Days collection, and the plaid is from the Cozy Winter collection. They mix together easily and I like the non traditional shades for this holiday card.

Pink & Main December Release and Giveaway!

The Pink & Main December release is going to steal your heart!   It’s loaded with sweet love/valentine images, two new card essentials to help with layouts and a little something for the grown ups too.. cocktails!   Count me in! 

Today I'm sharing a card made with the new You Are My Favorite stamp set.  This set includes six different cute animal couples perfect for Valentines and treat tags.  I think they'd be cute for Mom or Dad cards too!  It's always a win to get more from your supplies! 

For the color block background I used the new Card Cut Essentials 4 die set.   It includes different shapes to make layout/backgrounds for your cards.

Embellishments include a sentiment tag and  hearts from the Card Cut Essentials 2 and some Gold Sticky Gems to add a little bling.
