Fall Icons

Today I'm playing along at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where this time they're looking for Thanksgiving. I'm sharing a card I made with Pretty Pink Posh Fall Icons.

The Fall Icons stamp set includes 12 fabulous images that will have you thinking of all your fall favorites. Pumpkins, apples, gourds and rainbow corn have me thinking of trips to the local farm stand.

Colorful leaves, acorns, sunflowers and mushrooms are a walk in the woods! And of course it wouldn’t be Fall without Thanksgiving with that cute little turkey!

The Fall Icons coordinating die set includes three circle dies perfect for stacking with the stamped images to add more color and layers to your designs.

Fall Harvest

Today I'm playing along at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This time they're looking for Thanks / Thanksgiving.

I inked up these colorful images from the Pretty Pink Posh Fall Harvest Stamp Set. I love that you can mix and match what's going in the bushes and / or crates.

The stamp set even includes the little embellishment images you see like the mushroom and sunflower as well as the "Thankful" sentiment.

The background is a Distress Oxide blend that I spritzed with water, some red ink and some white ink. The colors and splatter help give some depth and dimension to the design.

Thankful

Fall is in full swing and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I'm spending more time outside raking up leaves, and removing dried up foliage from the flower and veggie garden.

With all that hard work it's time for a break - maybe a warm drink? Pumpkin Spice anybody? My card started with the Pretty Pink Posh Winter Mug that I dressed up with fall foliage from a few other sets. I like to get the most I can from my stamps and dies and mixing them together is a great way to do that.

The big pumpkin is from the Holiday Mug Additions, the sunflower, acorn and small leave is from the Big Fall Cupcake die set., and the butterflies are from the Spring Mug Additions.

The background is called Pierced Leafy Vines and makes an ordinary flat background look amazing!

Fall Bouquets

It's NOVEMBER! I can't believe how fast this year is flying! Halloween was yesterday and I hope you all had a great time! I really loved seeing all the kids dressed up - they were so excited to be out running around at night!

Today I'm playing along at Cut it Up Challenge where this time the challenge theme is Grateful and or Thankful! Just make sure that you use at least one die cut on your project to enter!

My card started with the pretty stamped flowers from the Pretty Pink Posh Fall Bouquet Stamp Set. I inked them with alcohol markers.

I die cut the Stitched Pieces from white cardstock to create the window trio that I layered the vases on. To make it a little fancier I cut the same panel again with the Eyelet Rectangle die. That created the stitched scalloped outer edge.

Sweet Halloween Mug

Today I'm playing along with the Die Cut Divas Challenge because they speak my language.. They LOVE die cuts and want you to play along using your favorites!

The Pretty Pink Posh Winter Mug series is one of my favorites. Once you have the mug die there are lots of different ways to dress it up for different occasions. I used the Spooky Mug Additions set that includes the sweets, and little ghosts too!

I used the new Spider Web Border to look like a lace doily to set the mug on. I love all the little extras in this set - how cute is that ghost that's holding the pumpkin?

I die cut the lollipops from the set and added a big bow using the Beautiful Bows die set.
