Pretty Pink Posh Instagram Hop & Giveaway!

There's alot going on today and I don't want you to miss anything! It's day 3 of a 5 day Instagram Hop featuring Pretty Pink Posh's latest release. This time it's all about birthdays and you're going to love what you see!

Meet the new Birthday Dogs and Cats! They're adorable! The clean line design makes them easy to color and the coordinating die set cuts them out in a snap. They even have a few accessory pieces like a fish, food bowl and present.

I arranged the images on a colorful zig zag background made to look like your pet's favorite blanket. I love the older Stacked Edges sets. The die cut pieces fit together like puzzle pieces for a smooth flat background.

Adding a frame over the busy background helps define the focal point and draw your eye to that area. The finishing touch is always a sprinkle of jewels! Because we have to have a little eye candy!

Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop and Giveaway!

It's a great day for a visit because it's Day 3 of a 4 Day blog hop sharing projects made with the latest Pretty Pink Posh release! It's their birthday so this month is EXTRA Special! Can you believe it's been 11 years? And every year is better than the last.

My card is a little mix of the old with the new. I started by arranging the new Birthday Cake Pops on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. I had fun cutting the images and watching them come to life as different colors represent different flavors!

The cake pops include everything you see.. the sprinkles for the pops, the little party hat and even the bows and candles.

The clear plastic makes it easy to slide background paper under your arranged design to get a preview. This time I used an older die called Pierced Stars - it's an A2 size die and makes a plain cardstock background look fussy.

The finishing touch is always a sprinkle of bling! I added flat back pearls to the bows, and sparkly jewels to the background!
