Jumping out of bed early for that?

Amberley and I realised last night we would be heading off to the flower markets on quite possibly the busiest day of the year - the day before Valentines Day. I asked, are you brave? If you are I am too. So here we are, off to fight the crowds for a pretty bunch of flowers.

The little details of our dream bedroom

The wallpaper is on it's way. Now it's all about finding the little bits and pieces that will give our bedroom that bit of pizazz! I hope to make use of little bunches of flowers, old and favourite books and a stunning chandelier as a starting point. Then there is the soft and pretty linen and beautiful prints. Just a small obsession...

Headboards (for Mimi) seem to be my thing for the moment. I adore the look! I have been waiting so long to define what exactly I should do with our room until the plantation shutters were confirmed and now I can finally get the ball rolling. We have a king bed so finding a bed head can sometimes be a little difficult although good things come to those who wait don't they? This soft look is just what I want for our room, along with some fabulous wallpaper and a gorgeous light (that light feature in that first room is glorious isn't it?!). How very exciting! Kellie xx
