If you're in Middle or Senior School, you can join 网爆门事件work Club. It happens every week after school. Sometimes, there are extra sessions during lunchtime for Senior School students. You'll have a quiet place to do your class work, homework or get ready for exams. There will always be College Staff to supervise you and offer support.
Chess Club is for students in Year 5 to 12. It's a social activity for people who love chess or want to learn. It's not a competition, but if you want to test your skills, you can play against students from other schools in the SEISA Cultural competition.
If you're in Year 8 to 12, you can join the debating and public speaking team. You'll get to work alone or with a team. This will help you become more confident and improve your general knowledge. You can also compete against students from other schools in the .
Tournament of Minds is a great part of our co-curricular programs at 网爆门事件. You'll be part of a team that works together to solve problems in a fun and competitive environment. First, you'll compete in your region, and if you do well, you'll move on to compete at the state and national levels.
网爆门事件 cares about the environment. That's why we have the Green Team. Middle and Senior School students passionate about sustainability and the environment can join this group. The team meets regularly to plan and work towards making the College carbon neutral.
Students in Year 10 to 12 can take part in the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA). It's a one-day event where you learn about different nations and how the United Nations (UN) works. Students develop debating skills and gain confidence in public speaking. They represent a country and debate resolutions from that country's perspective in a simulated United Nations Assembly with students from other schools.
If you're a Senior student over the age of 16, you can form a team and take part in the Youth Parliament program. You'll write a Bill that addresses an issue in Victoria's legislation that you want to change or add. During the sitting week held in Parliament House, Victoria, you'll debate and vote on the Bills. The passed Youth Parliament Bills will be given to the Minister for Youth to share with the relevant state Members of Parliament.
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a program that helps young Australians aged 14 to 25 explore their potential. It doesn't matter where you live or what your circumstances are. To earn an Award, you have to learn a skill, improve your physical wellbeing, volunteer in your community, and go on a team adventure in a new environment. Adult leaders, assessors, supervisors, and mentors will support you throughout the program.
Every year, we visit our sister school in Japan, Ibaraki Christian Junior High School. You'll spend a week attending school and staying with a Japanese family. After that, you'll go on a sightseeing tour to places like Tokyo, Tokyo Disney, and significant temples and cultural sites. You don't have to be studying Japanese to join this tour.
