About the Team

The Data Systems Team at Zoom turns operations data and knowledge into insights and value for internal and external customers. You will be creating a reliable, scalable, extensible, secure, and performant system that enables customers to close the feedback loop and drive product innovations.

On this team, you will be a key contributor to long-term strategy and architecture for the interoperability of Zoom’s Big Data and Machine Learning Platforms.

What we’re looking for

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or you have equivalent work experience.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience to the table.

• Demonstrate knowledge in JavaScript, including vanilla JS, HTML/DOM, CSS, with experience in frameworks like Material UI, and work in at least one modern JavaScript framework.

• Possess an understanding of the JavaScript development and build ecosystem, including tools like Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, and Babel.

• Have with Java and Spring backend technologies knowledge. Familiarity with the Linux system and high-performance application servers, and experience in building application platforms and integrating with third-party applications and services.

• Design and coding skills with an understanding of object-oriented design and asynchronous programming.

• Be able to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams and understand complex workflows. Work to develop innovative solutions to difficult problems.

• Possess verbal and written communication skills.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
