The Ainsworth Wind Energy Facility is a wind farm located about 4 miles (7 km) SSW of the town of Ainsworth, in north central Nebraska. Commissioned in 2005, it consists of 36 Vestas V82/1650 wind turbines with combined nameplate capacity of 59.4 megawatts.
