4-story residential building completed in 1829 as a 3-story townhouse for Richard Cromwell. It was altered in the 1880s to provide an English basement entrance. The bracketed cornice dates from later in the century. The house retains little of its original character and has been completely smooth-stuccoed, painted navy blue with white trim.
