Flower Idea!

Webster's Pages Purple Tutu Trim   Webster's Pages Blue Tutu Trim
If you were wondering what you could do with the adorable Tutu Trim from Webster's Pages now available at Paper Patch Crafts, I have a nifty idea for you.  Why not make a flower?
  1. Using a circle punch cut 1 with heavy cardstock
  2. Using hot glue or quick dry craft glue, start at the outside edge and apply
  3. Following the edge wrap the trim around the circle
  4. Feel free to use more than one color
  5. Finish off with a cute embellishment in the center.
Kind of fun!  You can buy a vast assortment of colors of this fun trim at Paper Patch Crafts!  Just follow the link to Webster's Pages.

More Webster's Pages

Paper Patch Crafts would love for you to come and see the new "Girl Land" line from Webster's Pages.  It's so pretty.  Here is another layout I created to share with you using this pretty line!
Can you believe how adorable that lace trim is?  And I love the alpha stickers as well.  The paper really stands alone without too much embellishment, but I couldn't resist adding a little bling and some stickles here and there.  Please visit Paper Patch Craft to meet more of the wonderful parts of this adorable line.

Webster's Pages from Paper Patch Crafts

Who doesn't love Websters Pages products?  I know I sure do.  Paper Patch Crafts has the "Girl land" available at their store and they are so sweet.  And so girly!  Good thing my grand daughter lets me take lots of pictures of her!  Here is a layout I created using the papers.
The Webster's Pages papers, Lace and embellishments are just perfect for adding that something special to your card or layout.  I did some paper piecing on the flowers to build the background on this page.  Also the lace border is covered in flowers using a combination of my own handmade flowers as well as some Prima flowers also currently available at Paper Patch Crafts.
Over the next couple days I will share a couple more projects I created using this adorable line.  Better go and get yours!!

All Things Altered Blog Hop!

Hello friends!  I am glad that you made it all the way to my blog for the "All things Altered Blog Hop" Hosted by Pam from Scrapbook Flair!  If you chanced on this, well, you are in for a treat!  Feel free to hop back to the beginning and start over.  I will have a full list of the blogs at the end of my post.  (Also there is a freebie..so read all the way to the bottom!!)
We have some lovely sponsors that have donated some product to a lovely winner.  A special thank you to:
I have been working on this project for quite some time. I didn't really know in the beginning what I wanted to accomplish with it, but when all is said and done a little bits of me and private memories are included.  I plan on adding more things as time goes on.  Because...life goes on.
I used a Tim Holtz Configurations box and covered it in paper using the Ranger decoupage medium.  I added some fun hardware for corners and legs.  Most of the hardware came from the Tim Holtz line.  Love the touch they added.

Each little space holds a memory for me.  The mini tea set is in memory of my mother. She always told me that tea will taste much better you drink it from a pretty cup. The little pinecone was a from a walk I took in a forest outside of a little village south of Stockholm, Sweden.
The rock was something I picked up when I visited Helsinki, Finland. The other spaces hold special memories about people and places dear to me.
I hope you liked this project I made to share.  Please leave me a comment if you do and I would be so happy if you decided to become a follower today.  Your feedback really makes my day.
Most of the items and embellishments used on this project came from my 2 favorite online stores.
As a very special bonus, if you do become a follower today and leave me a comment that you did, I will send every person a free digi stamp from Shelley Bean Stamps.  Be sure to leave me your email address so that I know where to send it!  If you are already a follower, that's wonderful!  Just leave a comment and you can have the free digi too.  This digi is brand new and never before released.  It will only be free during this hop June 29-30th!
New Digi!  "Shopping Sheila"
Please hop back to the very beginning of this hop to see how you can win prizes from our fabulous sponsors.
And once again, here is the full line up!

I love how cute this paper is!  All of the coordinating embellishments really add a lot to your finished projects too.  Image from Mo's Digital Pencil

I used the same image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  As you can see, even using the same product line you can still get a lot of versatility!

Paper Patch Craft Challenge&

There is another fun challenge happening over at Paper Patch Crafts.  This one runs through the 10th, so there is still time to play.  There is a sketch, and the theme is Travel related.  Kind of different.  So put on your thinking caps and let's get to playing.  There is a prize that's going to be given away, as always...and that makes it all the more fun.  Check out all the details over here.

Here is what I created.  I went into some old paper stash...this is K&Company's "Life's Journey".  I am not really sure how readily available this paper would be because I have owned it for a couple years already.  It sure is nice paper though! More details on other supplies to follow:

Most of the embellishments are available over at Paper Patch Crafts.  Check it out!!

A New Color Challenge from Paper Patch Crafts!

It's not too late to join us in the latest Color challenge over at Paper Patch Crafts.  Anne created a new facebook page for the store because of her disappointment in the way the timeline at Facebook obstructed all the entries you wanted to enter.  Please come and join us over at the new one by going here:  Paper Patch Crafts.  The challenge ends tomorrow...so hurry!!

The challenge is to create a card using the colors Navy, olive and cream.  Here is what I created:

I am having a lot of fun playing around with the Perfect Pearls I recently bought when my friend Mary came to town.  They add such a lovely shimmer and in this case patina to the background.  The image was  from Free Vintage Digital Stamps.  Check them out!  The embellishments were Prima and from Paper Patch Crafts.

Webster's Pages--Oh, so pretty!

Paper Patch Crafts has some of those beautiful Webster's Pages products available at their store.  These are the kinds of papers you would rather hoard that cut up and make into something.  But, being the dutiful Design Team member that I am, I took scissors in hand and came up with this ultra feminine card.  I hope you like!  I also hope you come look at the products available at Paper Patch Craft!!  Be sure to come and join us  at Facebook for all the updates and challenges!

Another Challenge

Using a drawing made by my dear friends son that recently passed on, I created this card using his inspiration.  Anne at Paper Patch Crafts has a challenge going on right now.  Here are the specifics:
You are to create a card or layout using my sons drawing as your inspiration. I want to be able to recognize some part of my sons drawing in your project. I also want you to tell me why you picked that part of his drawing and what it means to you, when you post your project. You have until March 18th at midnight to complete your project and post it on this wall. All entries should be original and new artwork. The prize for this challenge is the Florals Embellished Cricut Cartridge
Please come and join her in remembering her son and his talents while we take a moment and share our own.
I was inspired by the musical pathway and liked the flow of it all so tried to interpret that with the jewels on the music themed paper. The color scheme to me set the mood for the design.

Prima!! New Mini Album Adventures

Good morning and happy Saturday!  Today I am sharing with you the newest mini album I made featuring the gorgeous new Prima Marketing "Sun Kiss" Collection.  The colors and textures are all so yummy!  Paper Patch Crafts carries this and more of the new collections now.  Please go check it out and see all the cheery new products available!

All of the papers, flowers and mini tiles are coordinating.  There are many other elements  available.

This mini-book design idea was created by Laura from Following the Paper Trail.   She has so many ideas  for mini albums that I always use her for the source of my inspiration.  The bones of the album was created with mini white paper sacks.  There are multiple tags and photo mats throughout the album all sandwiched between a sturdy chipboard cover.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this fun little album.  I will have more items to share soon featuring more new products from Paper Patch Crafts from Prima Marketing as well as Webster's Pages!

Time for some Layouts!

I have been holding out on you.  I created these 3 layouts awhile back and decided now was the time to get them posted to share with you all.  First of all let me tell you that I love Websters Lace.  Having the opportunity to be on the Design Team for Paper Patch Crafts has given me an opportunity to play with their laces and paper.  I will be sharing with you some of the fun I had doing that here:
First of all...welcome to the world our "Little Leland" my new grandson!  Here is with his daddy (my son).  The paper and embellishments were provided by Scrapalicious USA.  The beautiful lace embellishments by Paper Patch Crafts.

More ribbon embellishments from Paper Patch Crafts

And of course my darling little angel Brinnsen in her tutu and more beautiful embellishments available at  Paper Patch Crafts

Family Vacation Layout & a Challenge

I showcased my Gratitude Journal back in November and had some photos left over that I had printed out in those wonderful sepia tones.  I would be proud as punch (why is punch proud anyway?) if you took a look back at that.  But I digress...This was one of a few photos that I particularly loved because it shows my parents who are in this photo younger than I am now, and I am only a teenager.  My sister and brother are barely past the baby stage, and well...it makes me feel all mushy inside because I remember it all so clearly...yet...it's so long ago.  *sigh...

Today I am showcasing some fantastic supplies I used from 2 of my favorite online Scrap supply stores.  The paper is the very fun Bo Bunny Et-Cetra line.  Scrapalicious USA has these papers along with all the coordinating sticker sheets and chipboard elements that go along with the set.  The beautiful Websters Pages Lace I acquired from Paper Patch Crafts.  The vintage look and colors I think matched the layout perfectly.  I popped on a couple Prima flowers, some buttons and a little machine stitching to finish it up.

Paper Patch Crafts is having a challenge now through midnight tonight using this layout.  Only requirements is a little hand or machine stitching and buttons. Join us!!

Snow Day!

All the little children here in Boise have been wishing for some Christmas Snow...but alas, it looks like an endless stream of cold days with sunshiney skies.  (Well, along with the inversion!)  But in the spirit of all things fun and hopefully adorable, I created this card that I think exemplifies the excitement for the first snow.

The image is another adorable Mo Manning digi stamp.  She reminds me of my grand daughter with that happy little face.  More details and items used are available below.  I am entering this card into 2 challenges.
