Crosman Factory Refurbished 1377 Air Pistols are Great Vaue.

Archer Airguns has a limited supply of factory refurbished Crosman factory 1377 air pistols available in stock.

These versatile and popular multipump pneumatic air pistols carry a 30-day Crosman warranty. Most of the ones we have are fitted with black grips and look very smart, they're all in .177 caliber.

Refurbished products are ones that have been returned to Crosman during the warranty period. Many - possibly most - have nothing wrong with them at all but are returned for some unknown reason. All are tested by Crosman staff. If a problem is found, this is rectified: the guns are retested and offered for sale as refurbs. Typically physical condition is either "as new" or "near new", but occasional products will have slight signs of handling or use marks.

As with any refurbished product, supply of the Crosman 1377 is variable and these are unlikely ever to be a continuously stocked line. We have them available when Crosman has supplies. So buy while these are available, at the price, they're a great deal!

In the Archer Airguns store, if you can see these air pistols in the "Secials" section, we have some in stock. If they are not to be seen, all are sold...

New Seal Kits for Crosman 1377 and 2240 Airguns

New at Archer Airguns are two seal kits for Crosman air pistols.

The "2X" Seal Kit for Crosman 1377 and 1322 Air Pistols comprises TWO SETS of the seals most commonly required to reseal a Crosman 1377 or 1322-type air pistol. This kit includes includes original Crosman factory parts such as the pump cup/seal and breech seal, together with valve O rings and bolt probe O rings for both .177 and .22 caliber versions.

These are the seals most likely to be needed for a reseal of these pump air pistols and this kit provides you with two sets of the parts. A spare set is useful either for backup, "just in case", or maybe you have Crosman pump air pistols already in both calibers!

This seal kit fits many Crosman pump airguns, including the following models: 1377, 1322, 1377C American Classic, PC77 Pumpmaster Classic and Backpacker Bugout Kit.

Also new is the Archer Airguns "2X" Seal Kit for Crosman 1740 and 2240 Air Pistols. This kit also includes TWO SETS of the seals most commonly required to reseal the popular Crosman 1740 and 2240-type air pistols.

This kit also includes bolt probe O rings for both .177 and .22 caliber versions. It provides parts to reseal many Crosman CO2-powered air pistols, including the 1740, 2240, Outdoorsman Carbine, 2250, 2300S and 2300T.

The 13/22 SuperSear is Back!

After a short pause in availability, the 13/22 SuperSear is back and just as good as ever!

The 13/22 SuperSear is a drop-in replacement for the standard factory sear used in Crosman 1377, 1322 and 2240 pistols - together with their many variants. In Archer Airguns testing, it gives a significant reduction in trigger pull weight of about 2lbs: that's a 40% improvement compared to the factory sear.

Of course, this sear is another product of the noted airgun upgrade designer Steve_in_NC.

This new "Version 2" of the SuperSear features the same geometry as the earlier version, only the method of manufacturing is changed - NOT the performance. The body of the sear is now CNC-sculpted from aircraft-quality Aluminum, with alloy-steel, load-bearing, wear-resistant, precision-machined pins at the bearing points. Please note that there will be compression marks on the surface of the sear, this is an artifact of the manufacturing process and has no effect on the geometry or performance of the 13/22 SuperSear.

The 13/22 SuperSear is installed by simply removing the right side pistol grip, removing the factory sear and replacing it. Full instructions are included with the kit. The included stainless steel washers help to center the sear and trigger, removing the objectionable side-to-side "slop" that's felt in the factory trigger assembly.

Note that the Archer Airguns 13/22 SuperSear is designed for use with UNMODIFIED Crosman 1377 and 2240-type air pistols. It may not work - or even be dangerous - if installed in combination with other trigger modifications such as weaker sear springs. If you've already made other trigger mods to your pistol, please don't add a 13/22 SuperSear!

Many Crosman pistol shooters have been very happy with their 13/22 SuperSear. Now you can appreciate its benefits too...

Fitting Weaver Base Rod Dot Sights to Crosman Steel Breeches.

Red dot sights are very suitable for use with Crosman 1377 and 2240 type air pistols. But the vast majority of these sights are supplied with Weaver bases. So what's the best way to mount a red dot sight on a 1377 or 2240?

This photo shows a Leapers Red/Green Dot Sight (Model SCP-DS3068W) mounted onto a 1377 with steel breech and using the Leapers DTP Adapter. Yes, there's just space to load a pellet!

Step one is to fit a Crosman Steel Breech to your pistol as this gives considerable added strength to the pistol. It also provides long airgun dovetails for mounting optics.

Step two is to use the Leapers Dovetail to Picatinny Rail Adapter. This comprises two tiny adapters that fit inside the Weaver bases of a red dot sight (or scope rings). When the Weaver base is clamped into position, the adapter fits tightly onto the dovetails. The result is almost invisible and it works perfectly!

The DTP Adapter parts fit into the Weaver mounts of the red dot sight like this.

I tried fitting other types of Weaver adapter to the Crosman Steel Breech and - while they did work - the height of the adapters caused the pistol to shoot low, in some cases outside the elevation range of the red dot sight used for the test. This was particularly noticeable at close ranges - 5 to 6 yards - and this gives the Leapers DTP Adapter a big advantage as it is so shallow.

Crosman 1377 or 2240 trigger pull weight too heavy? Here's how to improve it.

The Crosman 1377 and 2240 are excellent air pistols. But one very common complaint is that the factory trigger pull weight is much too heavy, typically well over 5 lbs.

The Archer Airguns 13/22 SuperSear solves this problem simply and easily, reducing the trigger pull weight on these pistols by around 2 lbs - that's a huge 40% improvement!

And it's easy to install yourself with no adjustments required...

We tested the trigger pull weight of two new, unmodified, Crosman air pistols (one 1377 and one 2240) both in standard factory condition and with the 13/22 SuperSear installed. Here's some test data that shows the huge improvement in trigger pull weight provided by the 13/22 SuperSear.

As you can see, the 13/22 SuperSear transformed these air pistols from having a trigger pull weight of over well over 5 lbs, down to below 4 lbs. This, together with the improved "feel" of the new sear, aids accuracy considerably when shooting.

Also, the 13/22 SuperSear reduced the shot-to-shot variation in trigger pull weight by over 10%, making trigger pull more predictable and again aiding in practical shooting accuracy.

If you want to make one simple, easy and predictable improvement to the trigger of your new Crosman 1377 or 2240 air pistol, the Archer Airguns 13/22 SuperSear could be your best choice!

Rear Sight Fits Crosman 1322, 1377 and 2240 Pistols.

Thanks to the efforts of a number of customers, we've been able to confirm that the very popular Industry Brand Rear Field Sight fits perfectly onto a number of other airguns.

These include the Crosman 1322, 1377 and 2240 pistols fitted with steel Crosman factory breeches. You can see this sight on Archer Airguns Crosman 1377 parts page and also the Archer Airguns parts page for Crosman 2240 pistols.

Also the sight works with the Russian IZH-60 and IZH-61 air rifles.

And it fits the Industry Brand QB6 and various model B3 air rifles.

Here's a photograph of the Rear Field Sight fitted to Paul Manktelow's beautiful classic steel breech Crosman 1322 pistol:

The Industry Brand Rear Field Sight
offers precise click-adjustable elevation and windage adjustments. It's a nice sight - especially at the attractive price.

As the sight leaf screw used by the factory is too long (!) and can hinder mounting on scope rails, Archer Airguns is now supplying an additional screw that is the correct length - it just needs a dab of black paint if required to blend in. You can file or grind the factory screw down to fit, or use the replacement screw as you choose!
