Cinderella's Wish

Hi there!

Today I'm here to show you the project that I made as Guest Designer for Storie di Timbri, Carta e... for their new October Challenge with the theme Dies. For this wall hanger, I used a digital stamp from Shacky A. Planet that I won on their Summer challenge.

Hope you like it =)

My dies: Sentiment, flower branch, coiled flowers and leaves.

I also made this project to participate on:

A blog Hop that has been organized to raise awareness about Domestic Violence.
The project had to feature something purple.
I chose this quote that I found because I think we need to rise little girls to know that they are valuable by themselves and do not need to be princesses that need rescuing.

Mermaid Kisses

Hi there!

Today, I'm here to show you my last project for Copic Spain. I made a mixed media canvas. This was  completely out of my comfort zone, but I had lots of fun working on this and I can tell you I will do it again.

Hope you like it =)

In this canvas: Image from Robin Pushay that I has first saw at the Crafts and Me Inspiration Blog and you can find here. From the moment I saw it I knew I had to colour them.

All colouring details to be found here.

Little Red Riding-hood's Basket

Hi there!

It is challenge day at Aliciabel Challenge Blog. The theme is always Anything Goes but we have played with the theme Candy Treat.

I love this image of sweet Little Red Ridding-hood, at first I thought it would be perfect to decorate a jar of honey, but at the end the jar is full of candies, and my kids are quite happy about this. Oh! And I forgot to say that she is a freebie ;)

The image has been coloured with my new toy, a nice and shiny box of Polychromos, and this is the first project where I used them.

Hope you like it =)

Snowball Fairy

Hi there!

Today I want to show you my project for the current challenge at Copic Marker Spain.
After all those Christmas cards, I felt like doing something different. Our sponsor this month is Kraftin Kimmie, and when I saw that my lovely Snowball Fairy fitted in it, I decided to alter a box of cheese portions.

In this project: Patterned paper from Humphrey's Corner, pom-pom trim, lace, rick-rack ribbon, blue rafia cord, crochet snowflake, paper flowers, sequins, liquid pearls, glitter glue and a dewdrop.

Colouring details can be found here.

A view from the box side.

A view from the inside.

An a picture of the half decorated box, because I forgot to take one before starting =P.

Gift Packaging

Hi there!

Today is challenge day at 613 Avenue Create and our optional twist is about Gift Packaging. This week I am showcasing a stamp from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. They are too cute and there is such a big variety of them. This time I decided to decorate a bag to put a present for my grandma, because she loves Sunbonet dolls.

Hope you like it :)

In this bag I used a recycled paper bag,
wrapping paper stitched on white paper to cover the shop brand,
a doily and some rafia.

Then I coloured the digital stamp with my Copic markers and I made a tag
with some embossed card, washi tape, sequins, a tag sentiment and a bell.

Copic markes used:
E000, E00, E011, E21, R22, R24, R27, R29, R59,
G21, G94, G99, C1, C3, B00, Y02, Y06, Y08.

Poinsettia flower cut and shaped by hand using a file from Fred She Said as a template.

Come and join the fun!!

Fairy Christmas Baubles

Hi there!

Today I'm going to show you some ornaments that I made for putting on my Christmas tree. Although now that the tree is up and watching how keen is my little flower at picking all the ornaments out of it, I think I will use them somewhere else =P.

However, I thought maybe you wanted to see them
Cheers

Advent Calendar 2014

Hi there!

It is time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create. It is challenge #100!! And the optional twist is to create a calendar. Because of the date, my first thought went to an Advent Calendar.

This is not a tradition in this area of Spain, but it was a tradition for my hubby. So, last year, we spoke about making one, and at the end teamed up to improvise one in a few hours on November 30th, after the kids went to bed.

No need to say that my sweet little boy (who is five now) loved it, and this year in august he was already asking when could he have it again. My little flower (who is two) doesn't remember last year, and since I started putting it up, doesn't stop asking if she can have one. Only one? she says =) (poor little thing <3<3<3)

Anyway, today I'm showcasing Christmas Papers from Fred She Said, and for decoration I also used a poinsettia done with their digi which I had from a previous challenge. Thank you!!

All the little packets are stitched together. All the decorations except the choco Santas are handmade. =)

Hope you like it!

Come and join the fun!

Happily Sewing Again

Hi there!

Today I here to show you a wall hanger that I made for my aunty who owns a sewing shop.
It is not déjà vu, she asked me if I could make this card again for her, but much bigger for hanging in her shop. Of course scaling from 6" square to 14" was not that easy, because the same embellishments didn't have the same effect, and some of the ones that I used before I didn't had any more.

Also, this time, for saving her some time. I decided to print the pre-coloured image instead of colouring it myself. You can't guess how many times I regretted it, because despite the quality of the image being great, it was a real pleasure colouring her for the first time and I missed it this time.
However, I had a fun time making most of the embellishments myself.

And here there is the result. I hope you like it like we did =)

In this card: Vintage Seamstress by The Paper Shelter. MME's, Stella & Rose, patterned paper. Buttons, ribbons, lace, flat back pearls, paper flowers, crochet flowers, scissors charm, doily, liquid pearls, flat back pearls, frantage, etc. everything from That Craft Place.
