Garroted.

--About 7 o'clock on Saturday evening, a young man, named R. W. Olds, was seized by three men, in the neighborhood of the city jail, thrown to the ground and robbed of a pocket-book containing one hundred and ninety dollars, his retirement papers, and several other valuable documents. Olds is from Nelson county, Virginia, and had upon his person a passport to go home.
