I invite the citizens of Richmond, and Virginia generally, and the citizens of other States who may be sojourning here, to meet me this evening at half-past 7 o'clock, at the African Church, to respond to the answer made by President Lincoln to the Confederate deputies sent to confer with him on the subject of peace.
