Confederate States District Cover.

--A short session of Judge Halyburton's Court was held yesterday.

Thomas G. Peachy was admitted to the bar as an attorney at law after subscribing to the usual oaths in such cases.

The habeas corpus case of Lecter Doyd, claiming exemption from the Confederate military service, was continued till this morning.

The court then adjourned until eleven o'clock to-day.
