Notice to soldiers and their families.
Virginia--In Henrico County Court, 9th July 1864. The Court order that the sheriff of this county make a list of all indigent soldiers and sailors from this county, in the Confederate service or State service, who have been or may be disabled or honorably discharged, and of their families, and of the families of those who may be now in service, and of the widows and minor children of such as may have died, or may hereafter die in the service, and return the said list to the Clerk's office of this Court on or before the first day of August Court next.

The object of the Court in the foregoing order is to cable them to organize some system of permanent relief for those who may be in a suffering condition, and in order to complete the list as far as possible. I shall attend at my office at the County Court House on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the 28th, 29th and 30th of this month. At which time all prisons embraced in and desiring the benefit of this order, will report to me.
