--A New Orleans letter-writer for a New York journal, in alluding to the withdrawal of Mr. Aleeks, who was named on the "Main ticket" as a candidate for State Auditor, says:

‘ His place is hiled with Dr. A. P. Dostic, who is charitably supposed to be crazy, and whose management of the finances of the state, when he Auditor, will probably be as perfect as of close shaving as he used to establishment in Chicago, from which he graduated a .
