The fruit crop not killed.

--The Columbus (Ga.) Times says:

‘ "A gentleman extensively engaged in the culture of choice fruit, expressed the opinion in our presence yesterday, that the peach crop has not been seriously injured by the late frost and cold weather. He is of opinion that this delicious fruit was not sufficiently advanced to have received any serious injury. There is no question at all that the weather has-been sufficiently cold to kill; but our hope rests in the fact, that the young fruit had not formed to such an extent as to be seriously affected."
