From Mississippi.
--The Canton (Miss.) Citizen, of the 25th January, says, as we go to press we have received the following intelligence from the front:‘ Great activity is shown by the enemy at Vicksburg. Some movement is contemplated. Sherman's at Vicksburg, on his route to Texas. Several thousand troops from Memphis have arrived to reinforce Vicksburg, which is still under the command of Gen. McPherson. Gen. Ross has returned from his trip up the river, and now occupies a place of importance. Gen. Wirt Adams has just returned from a fatiguing and partially successful trip in Louisiana and South Mississippi.
