Capture of Dr. Peters.

--Dr. Peters, who killed Gen. Van Dorn, was captured a few days since on his plantation upon the Mississippi river, where he was engaged in selling wood to the Yankees. He professed to his captors that he was desirous of getting back into the Confederacy, that he might have his trial; but it would seem as if he could have found his way back long ago had he desired it.
